placements and job opportunities dbit offers decent placements for students. eligibility criteria : minimum 60 % aggregate is the criteria for placements top recruiters of the college in placements are capgemini , tcs , infosys and accenture. placements offers over 100+ offers annually. packages : the highest pacakage is around inr 10 lpa while the average stande at inr 4 lpa . placements rate : approximately 80 % of students get placed. after completing the degree i plan to persue a career in software development or enroll in higher studies for specialization.
i choose don bosco institute of technology (dbit) in mumbai due to its good academic reputation , modern infrastructure , and strong placement opportunities . admission process entrance : admission is through MHT -CET or JEE Main. management quota: Limited merit based seats. direct second year admission : available for diploma holders. preparation tips:- focus on previous papers and mock tests. time management is crucial. good aspects of dbit:- Quality faculty and updated syllabi. well equipped labs and classrooms . good placements opportunities. supportive staff. areas for improvement. More extracurricular events. limited parking space canteen needs better food options.

Many companies including Godrej, capgemini, Seclore, SAP, DeltaX, VIP, Homefirst and so on have come and selected students. The Placement cell has done a wonderful job on keeping up the constant efforts for bringing the companies.
My admission was done based on the marks I scored in MHT-CET but I also had the advantage of being in minority as Christian in this institute. The cutoff is higher for students who are not in minority as much as 91 percentile but not for those who are in minority.

According to the score I got in cet I had various options. I would select Xavier's, DBIT, Atharva college of engineering and many more low tier colleges. But on comparing the total no of placed students in each batch, the average package and the highest package offered i opt for DBIT

But on an average the minimum criteria for the palcements is a 7.5 CGPA for all the branches. some of the recruiters are: TCS, BrowserStack, Accenture, Capgemini and many more. The highest package offered to our students is 22.5 LPA which was given by BRowserstack recently the lowest package offered was 4-5 LPA The percentage of students gtting placed from our college is 98-99% for all the students who are eligible for the placements.
There were no Group discussion activites, Interviews or written tests for the admission for our college separately. But there is a state exam called CET through whcih all the colleges provide admissions. In some cases where the college is Autonomous or a different side like NMIMS it has its own criteria for their admissions.
Read Full ReviewEvery semester student with 7 CGPA or above can attend the placement in our college. Few recruiters are TCS, Daiken and Mastek. Most of the students who attend placement interviews are placed from our campus.
The admission process was solely based on MHT-CET scores. The cut off for mechanical department was low but the other three branches namely COMPS, IT and EXTC were higher as COMPS went upto 97%ile and IT upto 92.
Read Full ReviewThe college curriculum was good, my sister suggested I take this course which is why I took it. The qualifications of the faculty vary some were Postgraduates and some have done PHD. So in teaching methodology all were different some were the same old techniques and some were using new-age technology to make students understand. Term exams were after every 6 months and the difficulty was like 7 out of 10
So, I am from J&k, and there was Kashmiri quota for all the people from their. As my cousin was already in Mumbai from last 2-3 years when my turn came up in the merit list my sister suggested that it is the best college for my to round. So went for it.
Read Full Reviewplacement cell is well managed almost all students get placed from college campuses only. There are different companies such as Bluestar Tata Jio Renault Voltas etc which are well-reputed companies. the average package is about 6.5 LPA.
I discuss it with my family. the cutoff of the college is 50% for mechanical engineering. first, we have to go to college for the admission process then collect the admission form fill it and submit it with all the documents.
