I got selected in this college through WBJEE exam . Though it is at quite a distance from my house, this is a comparatively good college in terms of education providement and placement reputations. Though not one of the top, it has a rank as a tier three engineering college from west bengal

I choose FIEM as it was in my budget and transportation from my place to college is affordable, and the actual reason is I achieved this college first after wbjee councelling through my merit rank. If any of students are interested to take admission in this college but they don't give wbjee or jee main exam , then they have to take admission in this college through management quota or direct admission which is happened just after the publishing of wbjee results. Apart from this one will also need to have minimum of 60 Percent marks in his/her class X and XII board examinations.

There are many types of admission criteria one will be exam from jee mains and wbjee another will quota and another will be direct admission but it will be costly. I didn't have the time to look for another college at that so I was going with only one option

actually my wbjee rank was 29000 in this rank you can easily get computer science in this college in other good college you need more rank also this college is not so expensive like 475000 is worth for cse

The college campus is very spacious, faculty is also quite good. There is a lack of extra curricular activities especially sports. The labs are a bit old and outdated but the college authorities are making active progress to change them

I got this college by giving an entrance exam, there are pelenty ways you can get in the clg. Like giving an entrance exam like WBJEE, JEE Mains etc or you can either take direct admission, which cost upto 5-6 lakhs

I chose this college to pursue my post graduate program because I was already a student of FIEM before completed BCA. So It was better for me to get into the environment easily rather going to another college and adopt their system. The good thing is there will be regular classes, practical sessions for hands on experiences. The bad aspects are there are only few classes which has smart equipment for teaching. The admission process is very easy. You need to appear on the CET exam to get into the BCA course and further on if you want to pursue MCA you need appear on JECA. Submit the rank and you'll be admitted. Simple.

We can get admission to the college by clearing JEE or WBJEE with a good rank. I heard about it from one of my friends. She's studying there too pursuing BCA. There are no such criteria you can join through management quota too.

It's good with good teaching faculty and lots of extra circular activities, but not so good in campusing, and no proper ground or place for sports .. but the teaching quality and teachers are really good and supportive. It organises lots of tech competitions which will help in increasing your technical knowledge and a lot of practical experiences. Which is not possible to learn in the class. It also held lots of seminars which will help you to know about the present job field and also help in solving the amplitude papers and helps to work on career development. And personality development. Overall it's a good college and budget-friendly

I did my graduation from FIEM so I had an idea of its faculty, I was very impressed by its teaching staff and its infrastructure, even though it did lack in a few places such as distance from place of stay and library, it still didn't fail to provide an amazing experience. The admission process is fairly easy and caters to all kinds of students, the cut-off is fairly low so it's easy to enrol in this institution. You need to prepare for your CET examinations if you are going for BCA and JECA examinations if you are applying for MCA.
