Remarks :
The college campus is very spacious, faculty is also quite good. There is a lack of extra curricular activities especially sports. The labs are a bit old and outdated but the college authorities are making active progress to change them
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college follows the course and curriculum of makaut which I think is quite good, apt and up to the market standards. Faculty is also quite good. Timely exams are taken with regular intervals allowing students to study properly. The faculty is very well qualified. Exams are on the dificult side obviously.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't opted for any internship. Various core internships are offered department wise. The placement cell has a tie - up with MNCs which often provide much lucrative internships. Further on the internships are often converted into permanent jobs
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placement is above 6 CGPA and zero backlogs Often TCS, Cognizant, Accenture, capgemini, Rashmi metalliks and many other renowned recruters come to hire stuudents from the campus. The average package is around 6LPA and the highest is 12 LPA The percentage of students getting placed are about 85 percent. My plan after getting the degree is to join an MNC and work for them
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Semester 1 - 67000 including admission fees caution fees is 12000 which is refundable Semester 2 - 40000 Semester 3 - 40000 Semester 4 - 42000 Semester 5 - 42000 Semester 6 - 44000 Semester 7 - 44000 Semester 8 - 46000 SVMCM scholarship is available along with student credit card scheme is also applicable
Campus Life :
In total there are 4 clubs which conduct over 12+ fest combined in a calender year. 4 major fests are conducted, in the month of april - may. All sorts of books are readily available, the library is well equipped with all the books. Smart classrooms are also available. There is a scarcity of Sports and extra curricular activities. There are 4 clubs - Sportivo(the sports club) Xplorica (tech club) Culrav (cultural club) Euphoria ( acting club)
Hostel Facilities :
The college hostel is quite good, the food there is very well up to the mark. The rooms are much affordable but they are very less in number so the chances of getting the college hostel room is quite difficult. The hostels in and around are also very good to stay

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
