Students after getting into 7th semester become eligible for placements. 3rd year students get internships too. Few visited recruiters include TCS,DISH TECHNOLOGY,PWC , Vedanta Mining, PSUs like NRL, OIL etc. Highest package is around 18 Lakhs CTC in PSU and average package is around 4.5 Lakhs. Around 50-60% students got placed in 2024. My plans after the degree is preparing for Civil Services.

There aren't any particular criteria for placement that I've heard of personally, although it would be recommended to not have any major backlogs and a minimal cgpa to ensure your selection during the recruitment process.

TPC is very active. It maintains a cordial relationship with the psu such as OIL and ONGC and various corporate companies. If no campus placement one can go for off campus psu through gate scores. Mtech is a nice option which is akso provided here. One can also opt for civil or engineering service exams.

The eligibility criteria for sitting in campus placement are you should not have any backlog and you should be in the 7th semester. There are many companies they visit in our college. The highest package is 27 lakhs and the average package is 8 lakhs. 70 percent of students are placed every year.

Placement is good enough. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys, Hindustan Unilever, L and T, NRL, ONGC, OIL, and others visit for campus recruitment. There are many other companies which visit here. The placement is decent.

The eligibility criteria for placement is that you should not have any backlogs during the time of placement means if you have any backlogs clear them before the 7th semester. The company that we visited during our college placement purpose are VEDANTA, ONGC, OIL, and many more tech companies. The highest package received is 25 lakhs and the average package is 5 to 6 lakhs. Around 60 to 70 per cent of students are placed every year.

The eligibility criteria for place is min 7 cgpa and no backlogs. For big companies, it should be min 7 cgpa and 80% in 12th. OIL, NRL, VEDANTA, IGGL, HUL, GRATIA, TECH MAHINDRA, INFOSYS, etc offers are made based on their criteria and the availability of the students with no backlogs. Almost all CSE and Instrumentation Engineering students get placed and after that, the Electrical students come second 80-90 % of offers are made, but it gets difficult for mechanical and civil students although offers are made the competition is too high. The highest package is 20 lakh and the average is 7-8 lakh. The percentage of students getting placed depends on the no. of students with cgpa more than 7 and sometimes 12th with 80% so if you calculate then it's around 40-50 % of students who are getting placed.My plans are to persure Mtech from IIT/NIT .

The placement scenario is also good. Every year CSE students get 100% placement. Many good companies like Flipkart, Mahindra, Bajaj, Dalmia, Dabur, OIL, NRL, Capgemini, etc come every year to offer jobs to students. If you prepare well you'll get a placement too. The highest package this year was 17lakh.The average package is 5LPA. Being from Civil, I am planning to go for higher studies ( M.Tech)

Every Year, 85-90% of the total students get placed in moderate to good companies, including government jobs as well. Companies like OIL, Hexagon, Cognizant, TCS, and other good companies have visited the college with good packages. The thing is, JEC is comprised of students who are not financially strong. So they don't complain when they get a job that makes their financial condition better, even if the package may seem low. JEC tries and even manages to place every student in every branch. The Highest Package here is 18 LPA, but nothing to be disappointed with as the average package here is 6 LPA, with a median of 4-6 LPA, pretty much like an NIT. I will opt for higher studies as planned earlier. I will sit for the placement but likely will study further.
