BE/B.Tech Admission

  • Applicants must pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, securing at least 45% aggregate. The minimum is 40% for SC/ST students.
  • TNEA calculates the merit score out of 200 by adding the Mathematics marks to half the Physics marks and half the Chemistry marks.
  • The government quota filled through TNEA covers 65% of seats. The other 35% are management-quota seats for which a TNEA rank is not required.

  • For ME seats, applicants with a valid GATE score receive priority over those applying with TANCET.
  • MBA applicants may hold a bachelor’s degree in any field but must have at least 50% marks. The requirement is 45% for SC/ST applicants, and a valid TANCET score is compulsory.

The Training and Placement Cell coordinates campus recruitment for undergraduate and postgraduate students. KPRIET works with employers from IT, core engineering and manufacturing in Coimbatore as well as other parts of Tamil Nadu.

KPRIET Campus and Infrastructure
