Sri Eshwar College of Engineering (SECE) began in 2008 as a private autonomous engineering institution in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The college is affiliated with Anna University and approved by AICTE. VLSI Design and Technology is one of SECE's newer B.E. options. B.E. AI and Machine Learning and B.Tech AI and Data Science are among its branches with the highest demand. The Computer Science and Business Systems course combines core computer science with business analytics, setting it apart from many engineering programmes in Coimbatore.

SECE Admission Process

Anna University's centralised TNEA counselling is the route for every B.E. and B.Tech admission at SECE. Applicants do not have to take a separate college entrance test for these undergraduate courses. Postgraduate engineering admission is handled through TANCET, while applicants with valid GATE scores may also seek an M.E. seat.

B.E./B.Tech Admission

Class XII academic performance decides TNEA admission. For Tamil Nadu State Board applicants, the relevant subjects are combined to calculate a cutoff mark. Marks obtained by CBSE and ISC students are converted into the TNEA cutoff format.

Founded in 1984, KCT has the longest history of the three and holds the higher NAAC A+ grade. SECE was established in 2008 but reached the 10th TNEA position in Tamil Nadu in 2026, moving ahead of many older institutions in student preference.
