SKCT Coimbatore Admissions 2026

SKCT Coimbatore admits students to undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Engineering & Technology and Management through national and state level entrance scores. Seat allotment is completed through the relevant counselling process. The SKCT Coimbatore application process is available only in offline mode, along with payment of the prescribed fee. The TNEA Application Fee 2025 is INR 500 for General category candidates, INR 250 for SC/ST/SCA candidates from Tamil Nadu, and INR 100 for each special reservation category.

SKCT Coimbatore Campus & Facilities

SKCT Coimbatore has a campus spread over 20 Acres and provides facilities for students, faculty, and staff. The major campus facilities are described below.

• Smart Board Classrooms: Smart board technology supports interactive learning. Lectures are recorded and sent to students by mail immediately so they can revisit the subject content.
• Hostel: The boys hostel is located within the college campus, while the girls hostel is situated 3kms from the campus. A hostel bus operates between the girls hostel and the college. The gents hostel has 5 blocks with accommodation for 1200 students. The ladies hostel has 143 rooms across 3 blocks and can accommodate 484 students.
• Library: The library has a built-up area of 5000 Sq.ft. and seating for 250 users. It includes a General Section, Reference Section, Periodical Section, Technical Section, and Discussion Room. The library uses RFID-based Koha automation software with web OPAC support to help users search and locate books from departments and from within or outside the campus. It currently has more than 74,463 volumes across 42,049 titles. The college subscribes to 252 national and international print periodicals and 8000 national and international online e-journals.
• Sports: SKCT Coimbatore offers sports facilities covering activities from basketball to table tennis, along with a fitness center.
• Food Court: A cafeteria functions on campus for students and staff. Four smaller cafes and refreshment outlets are also available inside the campus. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian food is prepared in a hygienic environment and served in the cafeteria.
• Medical Service: The campus has a well-equipped Medical Centre. For emergencies, a 24-hour ambulance service is available to access nearby hospitals. Facilities include an equipped ambulance, day care with 4 beds, and a first aid kit.
• Auditorium: Vankataram Hall is a modern air-conditioned auditorium with seating capacity for 3500 students. It has Wi-Fi, a stage, green rooms, and suitable lighting.
• Transport: The college operates bus services from various important locations in and around Coimbatore. Student safety is supported through experienced drivers. All buses have speed control devices, first aid boxes, and CCTV cameras. Each bus has a seating capacity of 60 and covers places in and around Coimbatore, including Pollachi, Mettupalayam, Avinashi, Tirupur, and Saravanampatti.
