KIET Deemed University Courses and Fees

KIET Deemed University runs more than 20 programmes in engineering, pharmacy, management, and computer applications. Major course fees for the full programme duration are given below.

B.Tech is KIET's main programme. CSE and allied branches such as AI/ML, Data Science, IoT, CSIT, and IT have the highest listed B.Tech fee at INR 13.59 Lakhs. Core branches such as ECE, EEE, Mechanical, and Mechatronics have a 4-year fee of INR 12.79 Lakhs. B.Pharm also costs INR 12.79 Lakhs, and the programme is supported by a Pharmacy department placed in the NIRF top 100.

KIET Deemed University Admission Process

KIET Deemed University admits students through entrance scores, merit screening, and direct application routes, depending on the programme. B.Tech selection mainly uses JEE Main 2026 percentile, while MBA, MCA, and Pharmacy follow their own admission routes.

B.Tech Admission

For B.Tech, KIET gives priority to JEE Main 2026 percentile for most seats. Students can also seek direct merit admission through 10+2 marks under the management quota. Applicants need 10+2 with PCM and at least 45% aggregate for General Category or 40% for SC/ST.

B.Tech choices include CSE, CSE with AI/ML, CSE with Data Science, CSE with IoT, CSIT, ECE, EEE, IT, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mechatronics and Automation Engineering. The Automotive Mechatronics course has been developed with Mercedes-Benz India for students interested in automotive engineering careers.

MBA and MCA Admission

MBA admission considers CAT, XAT, MAT, or CMAT scores, followed by group discussion and personal interview. KIET also accepts direct applications through its own aptitude screening. For MBA, students need graduation in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate. MCA admission is based on a BCA/B.Sc (Maths/CS) background and direct merit screening.

B.Pharm and M.Pharm Admission

B.Pharm applicants may apply through JEE Main, NEET UG, or direct 10+2 merit with PCM or PCB. M.Pharm admission needs either a valid GPAT score or B.Pharm merit with at least 55% aggregate.

Scholarships for Admitted Students

Students who enter with strong JEE Main scores or good merit marks may receive Institute Merit Scholarships. UP Government Post-Matric Scholarships are open to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Minority students whose yearly family income is below INR 2 Lakh.

KIET Deemed University Placements

KIET Deemed University's Corporate Relations and Placement Centre handles recruiter links, campus hiring, and placement activity. The university reported the following outcomes for the 2024-25 placement season.

Recruiters include Amazon, Google, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Wipro, American Express, Airtel, and Adani Group. International recruiters, including Airbus Germany, also take part. Alumni work with companies such as Cisco, Samsung, Deloitte, and Juspay.

Most offers come from CSE, IT, and ECE branches. Pharmacy students find roles in pharmaceutical companies, quality control laboratories, and hospital pharmacies.

KIET Deemed University Rankings

KIET Deemed University appears in several NIRF 2025 categories. Its strongest position is in Pharmacy, where it is ranked within the national top 100.

Programme-level NBA accreditation covers CSE, ECE, EEE, IT, Mechanical, CSIT, MCA, MBA, and Pharmacy. This shows that these programmes have national-level quality certification.

KIET Deemed University Scholarships

KIET Deemed University offers financial support through Institute Merit Scholarships and government-backed Post-Matric Scholarships.

Students applying for the UP Post-Matric Scholarship must use the official Uttar Pradesh Scholarship and Fee Reimbursement Online System (PFMS) portal. Income certificates and category certificates are required for this process.

KIET Deemed University Campus and Infrastructure

KIET Deemed University has a 21.56-acre campus on NH-58, Ghaziabad-Meerut Highway, nearly 30 km from New Delhi. Its Delhi NCR location gives students access to industry exposure, internships, and placement networks in the national capital region.

Facilities include smart classrooms, NVIDIA GPU-enabled CSE and AI/ML laboratories, an Automotive Mechatronics Centre set up with Mercedes-Benz India, and a Pharmacy research lab that also supports GPAT preparation. The central library has more than 1 lakh books and digital access to IEEE and Springer journals through the AKTU e-resources consortium.

Hostels are available separately for male and female students. Residential facilities include 24/7 Wi-Fi, multi-cuisine mess, laundry services, round-the-clock security, and double and triple sharing rooms. Students also have access to sports and recreation facilities.

More than 10,000 students study across disciplines at the university. Full-time faculty members hold postgraduate and doctoral qualifications, and faculty research includes publications in IEEE and Elsevier journals.

KIET Deemed University vs GLA University vs Sharda University

Students comparing private deemed universities in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi NCR often look at KIET Deemed University, GLA University in Mathura, and Sharda University in Greater Noida. These institutions compete for many of the same engineering and management applicants.

KIET has an edge in Pharmacy because of its NIRF #71 rank and its Automotive Mechatronics industry link with Mercedes-Benz. GLA University has lower B.Tech fees and a wider agriculture base. Sharda University is a larger multi-discipline university with medical and law schools, though some of its programmes have higher fees.
