MANET Pune provides admission to two Naval courses ie, B.Tech in Marine Engineering, and B.Sc in Nautical Science. It also offers B.Tech Lateral entry admission to the candidates. MANET Pune admissions are done on the basis of merit rank secured in the IMU CET entrance exam. Candidates applying for B.Tech and B.Sc courses have to fill out and submit the form on the official website of the institute.

Admission to B.Tech and B.Sc courses is granted on the basis of MANET CET (PERA) or IMU CET scores followed by medical test. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exams with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and; at least 50% marks in English either in Class 10 or Class 12.
Another eligibility criterion for admission to the B.Sc course in Nautical Science is Candidates must have 6/6 vision in both eyes without spectacles and should not be colour blind. Also, it is mandatory for the candidates to have a valid passport while taking admission into the program.
For admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry course, candidates must hold a Diploma degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized institute with an aggregate of at least 55% marks. Candidates are selected for admission to the B.Tech Lateral Entry course on the basis of merit in the previous qualifying degree examination followed by a medical test.

Life at manet- training institute for maritime studies

What I Liked

Infrastructure is also quite instrumental. Hostels and classrooms are well equipped
Placement rate is quite high as compared to other job sectors and other maritime institutes around 80- 85 % batch gets placed

What I didn’t like

Faculty are very rude and sometimes favour indigenous
Hostel rules are quite baseless and majority of them need not to exist

Remarks:

Factors that made me join this college is that there are very few maritime colleges for bsc nautical science MANET being one of the best was on my bucket list. You just need to fill their admissions form and then interviews are held and students are selected based on their 12th pcm percentage

Manet not for cowards

What I Liked

Infrastructure is very nice here like we have world peace dome which represents peace.
I like the hostels also the friends you make here are unforgettable and mysterious sometimes but we all love these things .

What I didn’t like

The Morning pt parade that we have to attend at 6 in morning but it's for our own health only so it's good sometimes.
Second thig is the punishments that is given by warens it's very strict sometimes but very good sometimes

Remarks:

So I don't think so if a boy from a very poor family should apply for this college as the fees is high also expenses will be there like ordering food taking printouts and many more things. But if you can afford all these things then you can surely joint this college without any hesitation. Also if you want to join you have to give an entrance exam named imudet and get in it's cutoff range to get admission here. Preparation is very easy like it's level is of boards only so you will surely pass.

MANET PUNE

What I Liked

Infrastructure is best and hostel is also the best.
I love the faculty of this college they are too supportive

What I didn’t like

Good atmosphere nothing to be changed in this college
Try not to fail the students in the college.

Remarks:

IMU CET exam and prepared for interview and basic knowledge of English and PCM. Now the good aspects of manet are placement is 90-95% and the bad aspects are fees are too high and the admission procedure you have to take of your pcm percentage and after college percentage.
