New Horizon College of Engineering, Bangalore has started NHCE Admission 2026 for BE, MBA, MCA and M.Tech courses. Students can apply through KCET and KEA counselling, or through the college-run management quota route for BE seats. For PG courses, seat allotment is based on Karnataka PGCET, KMAT, MAT, or GATE scores, as applicable.

The total course fee is INR 10,00,000 for BE CSE, ECE, EEE, Mechanical and ISE, INR 15,00,000 for BE AI and ML, INR 7,00,000 for MBA or MCA, and INR 2,00,000 for M.Tech CSE.

Admission Update:

BE/B.Tech: KCET 2026 result has been announced. KEA counselling rounds are in progress. Management Quota seats are currently available.
MBA and MCA: Karnataka PGCET 2026 for MBA and MCA has been held. KEA counselling is ongoing.
M.Tech: Karnataka PGCET 2026 for M.Tech has been held. KEA counselling is in progress.

The KCET route is meant only for Karnataka domicile students who have studied in Karnataka for at least 7 years.
For BE admission, students need 45% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics in 10+2. Karnataka SC/ST students need 40%.
NHCE does not take BE admission through COMEDK. BE seats are offered only through KCET/KEA and management quota.
MBA and MCA admission is done through KEA counselling with Karnataka PGCET, KMAT Karnataka, or MAT scores.
For M.Tech CSE, students need a valid GATE score or Karnataka PGCET M.Tech rank for KEA counselling.
Hostel facility is available on campus. Boys hostel fee is INR 1,70,000 to INR 1,90,000 per year, while girls hostel fee is up to INR 1,60,000 per year.

NHCE BE Admission 2026

BE admission at NHCE is available through two paths. Karnataka domicile students can take the KCET route through KEA counselling, while students seeking direct admission can apply under the management quota. KEA counselling rounds for the 2026-27 BE admission cycle are currently underway.

NHCE BE Eligibility Criteria 2026

Students must pass 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The optional subject must be Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, or Biotechnology.

NHCE BE Selection Criteria 2026

KCET seats at NHCE are allotted by rank through KEA. Management quota admission is based on 10+2 marks and direct application to the college.

KCET route: KCET 2026 rank is used for seat allotment. KEA conducts option entry and multiple counselling rounds.
Category reservation: KCET seats include reservation for GM, OBC (2A, 2B, 3A, 3B), SC, and ST candidates. Valid caste certificates must be uploaded on the KEA portal.
Management Quota: Students apply directly to NHCE, and seats are offered on the basis of 10+2 marks. Entrance exam rank is not needed.
Sports Quota: Students with sports achievements can apply under the sports quota. The same minimum 45% aggregate in 10+2 is required.

Key Insight: NHCE accepts management quota applications throughout the year until seats are filled. Students who missed KEA rounds or did not qualify through KCET can still contact the NHCE admissions office for a BE seat.

How to Apply for BE at NHCE?

KCET applicants must use the KEA portal. Management quota applicants must apply to NHCE through the college application form.

Complete KCET registration at the KEA portal (kea.kar.nic.in) and pay the application fee to KEA.
Take the KCET exam at the allotted centre and download the rank card after the result is published by KEA.
Join KEA BE/BTech counselling, pay the document verification fee, complete option entry, and accept the allotment letter.
Report to NHCE with original documents: 10th and 12th marksheets, Transfer Certificate, KCET rank card, Caste Certificate (SC/ST), Migration Certificate for non-Karnataka board students, and 4 passport photos.
For management quota, download the NHCE form from newhorizoncollegeofengineering.in/admissions-form, fill it, and submit it with documents at the NHCE admissions office.

NHCE MBA and MCA Admission 2026

NHCE MBA and MCA admission is handled through KEA counselling. Karnataka PGCET scores are used for MBA and MCA seat allotment, while KMAT Karnataka and MAT scores are also accepted for MBA admission.

NHCE MBA and MCA Selection Criteria 2026

KEA fills MBA and MCA seats after Karnataka PGCET results. MBA applicants with valid KMAT or MAT scores can also register for KEA MBA counselling.

MBA seats: Karnataka PGCET MBA rank, KMAT Karnataka score, or MAT score is used for KEA option entry and seat allotment.
MCA seats: Karnataka PGCET MCA rank is used for KEA counselling.
KEA allots seats by merit rank across participating colleges in Karnataka, including NHCE.

Key Insight: KMAT Karnataka is conducted more than once in a year. MBA applicants who missed PGCET registration can use a valid KMAT score for KEA counselling and choose NHCE in the current admission cycle.

How to Apply for MBA and MCA at NHCE?

Register for Karnataka PGCET 2026 (MBA/MCA) at kea.kar.nic.in and pay the PGCET exam fee.
Appear for the PGCET MBA/MCA exam and download the rank card after the result.
Register for KEA MBA/MCA counselling at kea.kar.nic.in and pay the counselling fee.
Choose NHCE during option entry, accept the allotment letter, and pay the admission fee.
For the KMAT or MAT route, upload the valid score card during KEA MBA counselling registration.

NHCE M.Tech Admission 2026

NHCE offers M.Tech CSE admission through KEA counselling. Students can apply with either a valid GATE 2026 score or a Karnataka PGCET M.Tech 2026 rank.

NHCE M.Tech Selection Criteria 2026

Students with a valid GATE 2026 score can take part in KEA M.Tech counselling for NHCE seats.
Students with a Karnataka PGCET M.Tech 2026 rank can also apply through KEA counselling.
GATE-qualified M.Tech students receive the AICTE scholarship of INR 12,400 per month for the full 2-year course, which reduces the effective programme cost.

How to Apply for M.Tech at NHCE?

Qualify GATE 2026 in CSE or a relevant discipline, or appear for Karnataka PGCET M.Tech 2026 at kea.kar.nic.in.
Register for KEA M.Tech counselling after results are declared and upload the GATE score card or PGCET rank card.
Select NHCE M.Tech CSE during option entry and wait for KEA seat allotment based on rank.
Report to NHCE with original documents: BE/B.Tech degree certificate, marksheets, GATE score card or PGCET rank card, and 2 passport photos.

NHCE Scholarships

NHCE students can apply for Karnataka government scholarships and central government schemes. Most schemes depend on admission category and academic performance.

Post Matric Scholarship (SC/ST): SC and ST students admitted through KCET/KEA can apply through the Karnataka Social Welfare Department portal.
OBC/EBC Scholarship: Students from Other Backward Classes can apply through the Karnataka Backward Classes Welfare Department.
AICTE GATE Scholarship: M.Tech students admitted through GATE receive INR 12,400 per month for 2 years from AICTE/Ministry of Education.
Sports Quota: NHCE offers merit benefit to students admitted under the sports quota. Students need an annual aggregate of 45% to continue the benefit each year.
National Scholarship Portal (NSP): Eligible students can apply for central government scholarships at scholarships.gov.in using income and caste certificates.

NHCE Admission FAQs

Ques. How much should I score in Class 12 for NHCE BE admission?

Ans. Students need at least 45% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics in 10+2, along with one optional subject from Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, or Biotechnology. Karnataka SC/ST students need 40%. This rule is followed for both KCET and management quota admission.

Ques. Can I use COMEDK for BE admission at NHCE?

Ans. No. NHCE Bangalore is not a COMEDK UGET member institution. BE seats at NHCE are filled only through KCET via KEA counselling and through management quota. Students should also check the official NHCE admission page before applying.

Ques. What is the 4-year BE CSE fee at NHCE?

Ans. NHCE charges a total fee of INR 10,00,000 for BE CSE over 4 years. The same fee applies to ECE, EEE, Mechanical Engineering, and ISE. BE AI and ML costs INR 15,00,000 for 4 years. The college may revise fees.

Ques. Is direct BE admission possible at NHCE without KCET?

Ques. Which scores are valid for NHCE MBA admission 2026?

Ans. NHCE accepts Karnataka PGCET, KMAT Karnataka, and MAT scores for MBA admission 2026. Seat allotment is done through KEA counselling at kea.kar.nic.in. Students with any one valid score can register for counselling and select NHCE.

Ques. Do I need GATE for NHCE M.Tech admission?

Ans. GATE is not compulsory for every applicant. NHCE also accepts Karnataka PGCET (M.Tech) rank through KEA counselling. However, only GATE-qualified students can receive the AICTE stipend of INR 12,400 per month. Students without GATE can apply through the PGCET route.

Ques. Are students waiting for Class 12 results allowed to apply for NHCE BE?

Ans. Yes. Students appearing for their 10+2 final exams can register for KCET 2026. Their admission is confirmed only after they submit the final 10+2 marksheet with the required percentage during KEA document verification.

Ques. Which documents are needed for NHCE BE admission?

What I Liked

the infrastructure is well driven and neat
the canteens are 4 ddifferent varities, and offering different types of food per canteen

What I didn’t like

the attendance policy is 85%, it is difficult for students to manage
sometimes, some teachers are stricter and mean ,

i got this college through kcet counselling karnataka, and i think it is a good college for placements, fests, infrastructor, and faculties. the admission rounds for kcet is very challenging because it has 3 rounds of counselling

What I Liked

I like the infrastructure means the buildings are very good and they are good looking and the Teachers are also will behaved they support students
I like the campus life here like the sports both indoor and outdoor sports

What I didn’t like

I don't like the rules inside this college which are very strict for example you cannot wrong in this college without wearing a ID card which is frustrating
I don't like the behaviour of some of the receptionist the act very rude for everyone

I choose this college because it have good placements and have good infrastructure I join at this college from kcet exam I did discussion about this college in online studying about the reviews about this college and found out this college was good and after joining it is indeed good it have good teachers in this college it don't have difficult admission process we should pay the fees online through the bank and should get the admission letter and can easily join this college I studied hard to get in this college

My days at nhce

What I Liked

It's pretty small but has got everything in it, good hangout spots are tango cafeteria, udupi and nescafe
The campus Is really neat and it's a plastic free campus

What I didn’t like

I don't really like the vibes of the students around here
Campus is a bit small for such a huge crowd

Remarks:

Getting admission in this college is really easy. All you have to do is enter and pay the fee if you have passed your 12th grade. But with the extra amount ofcourse. I joined this college because my scores were too low to get into any of the top colleges in Bangalore

NHCE: The Experience.

What I Liked

Campus life; amazing campus multiple places to just chill and amazing chai
Cafeterias ; there are 4 cafeterias in college each offering its unique kind of food.

What I didn’t like

HOD; they’re strict and good to be off their radar but teachers are sweet
No free car parking; bikes have free parking but car parking is 10k / year

Remarks:

I got into other colleges like Manipal and vit but for ece, I wanted cse and my cet score helped me get through with this college for a good price. As the fees wasn’t very expensive being a day scholar I went for it.

Sharing reality and thoughts

What I Liked

I like everything about the campus life in the college provided the nature look infrastructure. The college is been development since years so students can find different opportunities in different field's, faculties are very good in teaching and helping to enroll in different sector opportunities provided. The canteens are really good. The library, digital library are very helpful for the students.
The ground has peaceful vibes view given in the morning , and the Ganesha temple has rich in heritage and Blissful vibes. Through gods grace

What I didn’t like

Nothing to be unlike about the campus or anything mentioned above. The only thing is without id card the college won't allow inside.
All the functions or fest are almost done at night times the day scholars feel difficult to come and enjoy and go home at time.

Remarks:

Yes I had a discussion with my parents and friends before I joined this college. As I mentioned before I had to write kcet entry exam for the engineering course which college had certain cut off for the student to join for specific course. For my course I secured the cut off range rank and got the seat in new horizon college of engineering.

living above the horizon

What I Liked

good building structures and spacious rooms for labs , classes
the garden is best which which stands in the mid of the college
canteen is present in more than 3 places in college
nearby bus stop is there and there is upcoming metro

What I didn’t like

The sports category needs to be added few more items
more clubs in other fields are also required

I have attended this college interview counselling round after getting eligibility in KCET cutoff for my course is ranking less than 2.75 lakh and i prepared using the help of youtube videos of KEA department.

What I Liked

Campus is surrounded by trees and has a peaceful vibe
The timing of college is very good and not very stressful

What I didn’t like

The faculty could be better and have more advanced syllabus
The placement could have been improved and fair for everyone.

Remarks:

The main factor to choose this college was the location of college which is easily accessible and good reputation. There were no group discussions or interviews for joining the college it was solely based on 12th standard marks and management quota fee which had to be paid for reserving the seat on first come first serve basis

What I Liked

The campus life is amazing as I live in the hostel. The area around the college is great too. The college has a gym aswell for fitness
The college has well equipped labs,modern classrooms and good library. The campus is overall well maintained

What I didn’t like

The college can be very strict for no reasons. Unnecessary transactions are demanded every now and then. Fines are wayy tooo high

The high placement numbers, the great campus and the ease of access to this college. I got admission through management quota. The college offers admissions through their own entrance exam aswell. They consider KCET ranking aswell
