Rajeev Gandhi Memorial College of Engineering and Technology (RGMCET) was established in Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh in 1995. It is affiliated with the JNTU, Anantapur. RGMCET is approved by AICTE, and UGC and accredited by NBA. It is also graded ‘A+’ by NAAC. According to RGMCET Ranking, NIRF placed it in the band rank of 201-300 out of 300 engineering colleges in 2024.

RGMCET offers BTech as its flagship program. To be eligible for admission, candidates must pass the Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects. The final selection will be based on the AP EAMCET exam score. The RGMCET cutoff for AP EAMCET 2024 for General category BTech admission ranges from 33581- 172015 ranks. The RGMCET course fee for BTech is INR 3.04 lakhs for all specializations.

RGMCET Placements 2022 concluded with 31 companies visiting the campus for recruitment and providing 1150 offers. The highest CTC offered was INR 9.60 LPA and the average CTC stood at INR 4.50 LPA. Some of the recruiters were Accenture, Byju’s, JTG, HWI, CTS, TCS, Tech Mahindra, DeltaX, Wipro, etc.
