AP-PGCET is an online entrance exam comprising a total of 120 marks and duration of 2 hours. 70% seats are fulfilled through the GATE/PGCET tests (first preference is always given to candidates who have cleared GATE followed by those who qualified in AP-PGCET) and the remaining 30% through Management Quota.

Admissions to MBA and MCA are made on the basis of performance in AP-ICET, an offline test comprising 200 marks and a duration of 150 minutes.
