CEG B.E./B.Tech Admission 2026

For B.E. and B.Tech admission, CEG has 18 programmes. These include 12 Regular (Aided) branches and 6 Self Supporting branches. Admission is based on TNEA 2026 counselling, and no separate entrance exam is held by the college for these seats.

CEG B.E./B.Tech Selection Process 2026

TNEA prepares the merit rank using normalized Class 12 Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics marks out of 200. Seat allotment is done in rounds through tneaonline.org as per rank, category, and choices filled by the student.

The Regular (Aided) branches are CSE, ECE, Civil, Mechanical, EEE, Mining, Manufacturing, Printing and Packaging Technology, Geo Informatics, and Industrial Engineering. Civil and Mechanical are also offered in Tamil Medium. The Self Supporting branches are ECE, CSE, BTech IT, BTech VLSI and Design Technology, Bio Medical Engineering, and Materials Science and Engineering.

How to Apply for B.E./B.Tech at CEG?

Students allotted a seat through TNEA have to complete the admission steps on auegov.ac.in. They must register using their Application Number, registered mobile number, and email, fill the five-tab Data Entry form, upload the Anti-ragging form, Medical fitness form, Joint declaration form, and academic certificates as PDFs below 500 KB, and pay the fee online.
