How AUCE Selects B.Tech Students

Selection depends only on the applicant’s AUEET rank. AUCE does not conduct an interview or group discussion. AUEET is a 90-minute examination carrying 100 marks. Mathematics accounts for 40 marks, while Physics and Chemistry carry 30 marks each.

  • If two applicants have the same total, their Mathematics marks are compared first, followed by Physics and then Chemistry. If the tie remains, the older applicant receives priority based on date of birth.
  • Each branch assigns 85% of its seats to candidates from the 8 AU area districts. A Study Certificate or Residence Certificate is needed to establish local status.
  • Women receive 33.33% reservation separately within each branch and category.
  • A 10% supernumerary quota is provided for Other States candidates. An eligible applicant must be native to a place outside Andhra Pradesh and must have studied outside the state.
  • Foreign students have a separate 15% supernumerary quota and do not need to take AUEET. Their applications are handled through the Dean, International Affairs, Andhra University.
  • The annual fee for B.Tech CSE under Self-Support Mode is INR 2,05,000.

Because these B.Tech seats operate in Self-Support Mode, students cannot receive fee reimbursement from the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Reserved-category applicants should check their eligibility for other scholarships before confirming admission.

Steps to Apply for AUCE B.Tech

  • Create an account at audoa.andhrauniversity.edu.in, complete the online form and pay INR 1,200. The fee is INR 1,000 for SC, ST and PWD applicants.
  • Upload the Class 12 hall ticket, marks percentage, date of birth as recorded in the SSC documents, caste certificate where applicable and local-area certificate.
  • Download the AUEET admit card from the portal and take the examination at the selected test centre.

  • MCA applicants participate in the Andhra Pradesh centralised counselling process using their AP ICET rank.

AUCE Scholarships

Eligible AUCE students can apply for central government scholarship schemes. However, the Government of Andhra Pradesh does not provide fee reimbursement to students enrolled in B.Tech Self-Support Mode.
