Life at international maritime institute greater Noida

What I Liked

Mostely I like environment which is quite disciplined environments and hostel , mess
Faculties are too good they all are experienced captains too good they teach about life at sea

What I didn’t like

Nothing such that I dislike but one think I don’t like is if u want to go for swimming then u have to wait for college bus and go to another campus
And some time at night if someone make some nonsense thing then all hailers have to participate in punishment

Placement Experience:

There is 100 per cent placement for DNS cadets you are placed first then u will get admission world's top and finest companies are come over here and give placement like MSc, Scorpio tankers, synergy, fleet, MSI, MMSI,PIL,Clarke line,Maersk tankers , dynam tankers, VR Maritime,dickens ale,MOL and many more

Remarks:

Before admission they charge 2000 as fees for there exam and exams and interviews are held by Capt Varshney who is the HOI of the institute and a good and knowledgeable person who then further guides about exams of the company and tells us what we have to improve in our studies so we can select to good companies then companies came to take exams and interview then medical done if ur selected

Best College In North India for Maritime Courses

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because this is the short-term course of a one-year diploma in nautical science and 18 months of onward training where you will be getting the best practical knowledge. The faculty here is the best in all of India.

Remarks:

This college ranks number one in North India. As this college has the best teachers the academics of this college rank them first. Good quality teaching training and practicals are carried out every year.

My honest review

What I Liked

College campus was at the best location in greater Noida uttar pradesh, infrastructure was excellent.... Everyone praised it... faculty was very experienced and they had achieved level of master into their respective subjects also there were more than one faculty for every subject...campus. Life was very good we were also to order the food from the outside but there was a time limit..we could only between 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the evening...we could also play in the evening in the playground there were many sports to play including cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, badminton, there was a dedicated gym, we also used to p.t and yoga in the morning
Sometimes we also played with outside teams and we also participated in the national maritime day and our college students won many medals in soccer, badminton, volleyball, cricket, running, parade, etc

What I didn’t like

The thing i liked there is the Atmosphere of the campus.. Everyone motivated us to do our best and they taught us in such a way that Everything looks us easy and we will remain always thankful to them
We are very lucky to get admission in such a good college and we could fing the hidden potential of ourselves

Placement Experience:

There is no concern about the placement... Each cadet was sponsored form a reputed company so we can say the placement was hundred (100) per cent..there were some companies visited to give placement to the cadets who wanted to switch their companies for any reason....after getting the degree one was sailing into their respected companies there is nothing to worry about that...and after that, we will have to submit our cadet record book to the college and they will check it and then they will give us marks according to our performance and we will be able to give our second mate exams to become a third officer and then second after officer after Eighteen months as a second officer.

Remarks:

This college is the best in north India for doing Maritime studies faculty and staff were very supportive you can contact them any time to get help.. the admission process was very smooth easy and transparent...first we had to take the entrance exam then the interview in the selected company after that we get selected everything goes fine. At my time exam was offline but now it is a computer-based online exam ....they provide 2 batches every year for a diploma in nautical science...one in the August batch consists of 160 students with 40 students in one class and another batch in February of 40 students... It is the best college I would say for Maritime studies as everything is here.... practical teachers are separate and they are full of knowledge and give their best to transform the student into his/her best version.

BEST MARITIME COLLEGE

What I Liked

We have the best faculty here with the best maritime knowledge.
The hostel rooms and classrooms and the food here having the best quality.

What I didn’t like

The campus is too small for some activities.
We are having soo many restrictions here.

Placement Experience:

In the diploma in nautical science course we get the placement before we get the college we have to apply for companies to get the placement without placement we can't get admission in this course in this college.

Remarks:

YES I FACED WRITTEN EXAM ALONG WITH INTERVIEW OF MY COMPANY FROM WHICH I AM SPONSORED, AND THE COMPANY GAVE ME THIS COLLEGE. The college is having good faculty members with good teaching skills and one thing is bad in this institute is the campus is very small but everyone is friendly here.
