The college is good with a great infrastructure and technologies and the faculties are one of the best in whole state with huge experience. Though they are strict but they treat the students like their own child and always available to listen to the students even if it's 1am of night. College is close to my home, it was one of the major reason for which I chose this college. I did not face any group discussion, interviews or written tests for admission

Dr RMLIMS Government Medical College offers excellent infrastructure, supported by highly skilled professors and state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with the latest technology. The college is ranked second in Uttar Pradesh, following King George’s Medical University, which holds the top position in the state. The associated hospital boasts a high patient load in both its OPD and IPD, providing students with extensive clinical exposure. However, there are a few challenges. The distance between the hostels and the college is approximately 10 km, although a free bus service is available to mitigate this issue. Sports facilities on campus are limited to a badminton court, a volleyball court, and two table tennis tables. To compensate, the college rents a mini stadium during the annual fest, Avensis, allowing students to participate in various sports activities. The mess facilities, especially for boys, are currently subpar and need improvement.

The academics of the college are top notch which prepares you quite well for the upcoming competition like in PG entrance exams. Great rankers come from the college in PG entrance exams like in Inicet, neet pg which in itself proves the college's excellence in academic opportunities. Apart from academics extracurricular activities are always organized by college committees to keep students engaged in activities apart from studies. The admission process requires qualifying for the UG entrance exam and securing a good rank if you have no reservation benefits to secure an MBBS seat as this an institute of excellence situated in the heart of up I.e, Lucknow. The cutoff for the general category lies between 4.5 5 k rank.

I chose this college as it ranks 2nd in terms of MBBS courses in the state. I got admission through the NEET exam. There were no group discussions or interviews. Neet was a mcq based exam. After the exam there will be online counseling and based on your choice and your rank college will be allowed. Also, there are different cut-offs based on your category eg general, sc, st, obc, ew.

I'm a resident of lucknow only hence I preferred a college of lucknow, as I didn't got kgmu my next obvious choice was RML. It is a good institute, has more patient load than many colleges, has super speciality courses too, faculty is good , only drawback is the hostel which is about 8-9km from the college
