Its academic portfolio also includes DM and M.Ch super-specialty courses, which are not commonly available at private colleges in the state. Course charges follow the Karnataka fee rules for private institutions.

Among the postgraduate courses, MD Radiodiagnosis has the highest total charge at INR 1,80,00,000. Management quota fees are also high for MD Paediatrics and MS Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Courses in non-clinical areas, including Anatomy and Forensic Medicine, cost considerably less. These figures apply to the management quota and should be confirmed with the RRMCH admissions office before an application is submitted.

RRMCH Admission Process

NEET performance determines admission to the RRMCH MBBS programme. Of the 250 seats, 15% are under AIQ and are allotted by MCC. KEA Karnataka fills the state quota and management quota seats, while the college directly manages the 38 NRI seats.

MBBS Admission

Applicants must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. They need at least a 50% aggregate in PCB, while SC, ST, and OBC applicants need 40%. A valid NEET UG score is compulsory, and Karnataka domicile is needed for state quota admission.

  • Complete registration on the KEA Karnataka counselling portal.
  • Attend document verification and enter course and college choices.
  • Wait for allotment based on NEET rank, category, and domicile.
  • Report to RRMCH with all original documents after receiving a seat.
  • Pay the required fee to confirm admission.

MBBS Cutoff

In MCC Round 2 of 2026, the AIQ General Category closing rank for RRMCH MBBS was 5,05,316. The higher closing rank number is linked to the college filling many seats through the management and NRI categories, where fees are higher and competition for merit seats is lower than at government colleges. KEA separately processes the Karnataka closing ranks for management quota seats.

MD, MS, DM, and M.Ch Admission

Applicants seeking MD or MS admission must qualify through NEET PG. KEA Karnataka is responsible for the state quota MD and MS allotments. Admission to DM and M.Ch is based on NEET SS, and MCC fills all super-specialty seats through AIQ. A relevant MD degree is required for DM, while M.Ch applicants need the appropriate MS qualification.

B.Sc Allied Health and Diploma Programmes

KEA Karnataka admits students to B.Sc Allied Health Science courses according to 10+2 merit. Available fields include Anesthesia Technology, Cardiac Care Technology, Optometry, Renal Dialysis, and Medical Imaging. Diploma applicants are selected directly on merit. For both programme groups, the minimum academic requirement is 10+2 with PCB.

RRMCH Placements and Career Outcomes

RRMCH operates as a private teaching hospital and does not organise standard campus placement drives. After graduation, students commonly prepare for NEET PG, sit for government health service examinations, or seek work at hospitals in Bengaluru and other parts of Karnataka.

DM and M.Ch training at RRMCH covers Cardiology, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, Cardiovascular Surgery, and Neuro Surgery. These programmes prepare doctors for consultant-level work in tertiary hospitals. Graduates with these super-specialty qualifications generally receive higher compensation than doctors whose highest qualification is MBBS.

RRMCH Campus and Infrastructure

RRMCH occupies a 25-acre campus on Mysore Road in Bengaluru. Its multi-specialty teaching hospital delivers tertiary care in Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Paediatric Surgery, Endocrinology, Orthopaedics, and Plastic Surgery. The three intensive care units, MICU, SICU, and ICCU, together contain 18 beds.

The institution has NAAC Grade A+ accreditation. Students use an anatomy museum with more than 350 dissected specimens and 1,000 models, while the central library holds over 10,000 volumes. International academic opportunities include research partnerships and student exchanges with institutions such as the Mayo Clinic and Melbourne University.

Separate residential facilities are provided for male and female students. Hostel charges can reach INR 1,75,000 per year. The Mysore Road location connects the campus with Bengaluru city centre and Kempegowda International Airport.

RRMCH vs Sri Siddhartha Medical College vs M.S. Ramaiah Medical College

Students considering private medical colleges in the Bangalore region may compare RRMCH with Sri Siddhartha Medical College in Tumkur and M.S. Ramaiah Medical College in Bengaluru. Each of these private institutions is affiliated with RGUHS and recognised by the NMC.
