Placements are given but they does not give a high package they offer around 5lpa its the maximum amount i have heard from my seniors but one should focus on further studies as a bachelors degree is not enough for a better employment plan
No i havent opted for any internship because currently i want to focus on my studies and further studies.. But in my vacation i applied in NESTLE AND MOTHERDAIRY... But i was not eligible as i was a first year student

Yes I have been a part of projects provided to me by the college which included in participating in G20 summit centenary and we went for a talk provided by sudha murty in Rashtrapati Bhavan. The internship was found on your own contacts the internship are generally unpaid.
Read Full ReviewThe placement cell does bring in companies, but it would be better if you start looking for places where you might want to work considering the area, timings and environment. The workload is very very easily manageable, and it’s okay even if you work full time. Just be on time with submissions and exams and you are good.
I did a graphic design internship, but not through college placement. It was pretty good as a starting point even though it was unpaid. Also, don't think you will land a job/internship that pays well on the first/second try. Unless you have the skills and some experience, the start is going to be slow.
Read Full ReviewI don't know about placement and job opportunities from the college side yet..but they do have a placement cell that is actively working for internships. but you can easily get a job if you have relevant skills.
I haven't done any internships yet. However I am regularly active on Internshala, Indeed, and LinkedIn for internships and jobs. you will get alot of unpaid internships but I feel like why you should do that! if you can work then you should work with a stipend.

Yes, I did two internships for my bachelor's degree one was in Parle G Bahadurgarh for two months, and another was one month in Perfetti Van Melle in Manesar Gurgaon Haryana in the Packaging, Quality, and Production department.

Students are encouraged to go for a master's instead of gaining work experience. I too am looking forward to a master's degree in food technology or packaging after graduation.
Industrial internships are the best kind for food technology. Most people in the batch intern at Mother Dairy and Delhi Milk Scheme for industrial experience. It specializes in skills like food microbiology, food safety, food quality management, etc.
