Institute of Home Economics, established in 1961 in New Delhi. The college is affiliated with Delhi University (DU).
Institute of Home Economics offers 7 courses in total. It offers courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and PG Diploma levels in Science, Arts, Education, and Management streams. Institute of Home Economics: Scholarship
Institute of Home Economics offers various special scholarship schemes to the deserving meritorious candidates and to the financially weaker section students. The Government of India has introduced this special Scholarship scheme for the establishment of two supernumerary seats for the students of Jammu and Kashmir. This scholarship scheme is to be implemented for all undergraduate programs.
