The good aspect is the facility , they are very kind to you and very helpful towards their students If one bad aspect about the college then it must the canteen food The food is not sufficient and price is little high

The factors to choose this college was For admissions the students need to give JEE/WBJEE and select the college on slot through WBJEE portal As per other options, we can take Direct Admission. The cut-off changes every year

Faculty is excellent but placement suffered in 2024 due to the recession though it was good in the previous batches exams to get in are WBJEE, and JELET I was allotted the college through JELET counselling in the first counselling.

Future Institute Of Technology was recommended by a family friend of mine. The admission process was quite straight forward and the staff was helpful throughout the process. Admission can be taken by scoring in WBJEE or JEE mains. Cut-off may differ from year to year, but the average cut-off is 30,000-60,000 in WBJEE and around 40-60 percentile in JEE mains. The pros and cons are as follows. Pros : * Helpful and friendly faculty. * Clean campus. * Clean canteen with lunch and breakfast availability. * Well-equipped labs with adequate lab assistance. * Leniency towards low attendance. * PG/Hostel facilities nearby. * Clean drinking water available. (Aqua guard) * Metro connectivity. * Free two-wheeler parking is available. Cons : * Small playgrounds. (3 total) * Non-ac classrooms. * No water coolers. * Classrooms not cleaned regularly. * Transportation may be a hassle. * Wi-Fi speed is very slow. Other than that, the college experience is above average.

Some good aspects of my college are - The institute boasts modern infrastructure, It has experienced faculty members who are knowledgeable in their respective fields, this college has a healthy placement record and opportunities, Being situated in Kolkata can provide students with access to various cultural and professional opportunities in the city, the institute has strong ties with industries, etc and some bad aspects are -High tuition fees can be a deterrent for some students, For some students, the location of the institute might be too far from their place of residence, leading to commuting issues. For admission, one has to appear for JEE exams either JEE MAINS or WBJEE, then they can select the college in the counseling period and if they meet the cutoff of JEE Main is 20443 - 28898 rank(gen quota), the cutoff of 2023 for Round 3, the closing rank for Computer Science and Engineering is 83064. Otherwise, they can visit the college for admission purposes.

The college is decent. All the professors are good. Sports is organized here every semester, fest are also held. There is a normal coding culture. All the labs are there in a good condition. The college campus is not so big. There is no hostels here. You will have to stay in pg or take a rent in flat. You will find this nearby only from college. I get here from Wbjee my rank was 60k. I get it from the counselling. By following JEE materials only you will cover.

See if I talk about the overall performance of FIT is truly awesome. An engineering college should be good in a couple of aspects, placement and guidance. FIT is the one-stop solution for this. This college is in a good location, travelling is very good, all the facilities and students are very much supportive. They worked hard for students to grow their soft skills via Group Discussions, Mock interviews, and other stuff. The total semester fees are also very low compared to other colleges. So overall it’s a nice place. That's the reason that makes me convinced to be admitted to the Future Institute of Technology, Kolkata.

Admission takes place through wbjee exam, you need to have a decent rank and apply through centralized counseling and if your rank is inside the cut off you will get the college. There is no other exam needed. The college is very close to my home and has a good record in computer science placement.

This university used to have an awesome placement drive, so I chose this college. Students from this college got job offers of around 10 lpa. The average salary package is around 5lpa though. This is under MAKAUT so the syllabus is pretty much included with everything necessary. Teachers are helpful. Exams are regular. There are laboratories for each subject as well.
