Remarks :
The factors to choose this college was For admissions the students need to give JEE/WBJEE and select the college on slot through WBJEE portal As per other options, we can take Direct Admission. The cut-off changes every year
Course Curriculum Overview :
The B.Tech CSE curriculum was comprehensive, encompassing core subjects like programming languages, data structures and algorithms, database management systems, computer networks, operating systems, and software engineering. I choose this due to my passion for technology and problem-solving. The field offers a wide array of career opportunities, from software development to data science and cybersecurity. I am particularly drawn to the potential for innovation and creating solutions that impact society. The faculty members are highly qualified. Their teaching methods are very good, catering to various learning styles. Faculty members are accessible and supportive, offering guidance and feedback related to job, placements and other area of interests on different fields. Semester exams are scheduled on time, as per MAKAUT. The exams are designed to assess understanding of core concepts and their application. They are fair and provide a good measure of academic progress.
Internships Opportunities :
I did industrial training from Ardent as they are associated with our college, The fee is very low and it's beneficial. However, I did internship from Cognizant once I cleared their Placement Interview round.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria depends on companies which they set. However, the TPO Cell tries their best to bring as many companies as possible so that everyone can be placed. We have recruiters like- Cognizant, Mindtree, Accenture, Wipro, Tata Highest Package - 12LPA and average package is - 4LPA
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee was in our time around 380000 and we paid fee per semester wise of 40000, and the amount used to increase by 0k-2k per year for the next semesters There was a scholarship available as well named SVMCM, but I didn't applied for it.
Campus Life :
We have: Annual Technical Fest - 'UNiTRON' managed by Tech club - 'Tic-Tech-Toe' which includes competitions on Robotics, Quiz, Treasure Hunt, Coding, Gaming, Painting, Hackathons, Bridge Building, Carnivals, etc. Annual Cultural Fest - 'UNICORN' managed by Cultural club - 'CulAkriti' which includes events like, Ramp Walk, Fashion Show, Singing, Dancing, Bands, DJ, Mic Stand, etc Annual Sport Fest - 'KRIYOS' managed by Sports club - 'Sportron' which conducts events like, Football, Cricket, Badminton, Kabaddi, TT, Pull-the-Rope, Carrom, etc For books we have library and can access internet from dedicated Department's Lab Computer
Hostel Facilities :
The college campus offers a canteen providing a variety of snacks and lunch options and col drinks. As it's a day-time college, there are no night facilities or hostels. The college gate closes at 5:30 PM.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
