The selection process is based on marks scored in respective honors subjects. Whereas Phase 2 admission is conducted for candidates who have passed B.Sc. Honours from any other recognized University as well as the students from WBSU, who were not selected in Phase 1. The selection is done on the basis of performance in the admission test.
