Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board has released the schedule for Special Counselling based on UGEAC 2024 for BE/BTech courses. The special counselling will be conducted offline. Shortlisted candidates must report to the Office of BCECEB, near the IAS Association Building, Patna Airport, Patna-14 for document verification and seat allocation. The interview and counselling will be conducted from October 23 to October 25, 2024, from 10 AM onwards.

Candidates are invited for admission to fill out the vacant seats in government engineering colleges across Bihar. There are reservations for reserved category candidates which can be availed during the BCECE counselling and interview process. The authorities have released the category-wise merit lists for UR and reserved candidates. Note that, there is no guarantee of enrollment and depends on the document verification, interview, and eligibility.

Documents Required for Counselling

Eligible candidates must report to the office with the documents listed below. Carry the original as well as two self-attested photocopies, for the counselling interview.

• Original Admit Card of JEE (MAIN)-2024
• Original Score Card of JEE (MAIN)-2024
• Passing Certificate/Mark Sheet/Admit Card of Matric/equivalent exam
• Passing Certificate/Mark Sheet/Admit Card of Intermediate/10+2/equivalent exam
• Residential Certificate
• Caste Certificate
• All original certificates/documents as per the requirements for admission to Private Engineering Colleges
• Six copies of passport-sized photographs, which were affixed on the Admit Card of JEE (MAIN)-2024
• Downloaded print of the Online filled Application Form (Part A & Part B) of UGEAC-2024
• Aadhar Card
• Two copies of the Check Slip (as downloaded) along with the Biometric Identification Report Form (one copy)
• Any other documents required as per the prospectus of UGEAC-2024 (if any), such as DQ (PWD)/SMQ/EWS certificate or any other certificates.

Points to Remember

• Candidates will not be sent any separate interview letter. If a candidate fails to report for counselling on the scheduled date and time, they will be marked absent. Those candidates have to wait till the next day to complete the process
• In case the vacant seats are filled up before the schedule, the following dates will be postponed.
