Mahatma Gandhi Central University has released the PhD Admission 2024 schedule. Candidates taking admission to PhD (Library and Information Science) must appear for document verification on January 20, 2025, at the MGCUB campus. Selection will be based on the Interview conducted by MGCUB.

Documents Required for MGCUB PhD Admission

Candidates must bring the below-listed original documents along with a set of self-attested copies of the same at the time of admission:

• Copy of submitted online application form
• Mark sheets and certificates of Class 10th and 12th
• Marks sheet and Certificate of Graduation and post-graduation
• A11 original certificates (NET Category I, II & III) and mark sheet
• 5 recent passport-size photographs
• Aadhar card
• Original Extra Co-Curricular Activities Certificates, if any
• Bank Account details of the student
• Character Certificate
• Transfer/Migration Certificate
• Affidavit for the gap of over three years, if applicable on 100/- stamp paper
• SC/ST/OBC/PwD/EWS Certificate ( if applicable)
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Employers, wherever applicable
• Anti-ragging forms duly signed by the students & parents/guardians

MGCUB PhD Admission Key Points

• Provisional admission shall be strictly based on a merit list derived from the composite score of Marks of Entrance Test and Marks of Interview / Viva-voce.
• Candidates are required to report personally as per the schedule to the venue along with required documents.
• Candidates are required to make a presentation on a Research Proposal to be presented during the interview.
• Candidates must visit the MGCUB official website for regular updates and information.
