Nalanda University sets a different PhD schedule because doctoral selection includes an institute-level written test and interview. Applicants using ICCR, BIMSTEC, or ASEAN scholarships must follow the deadlines fixed by the relevant sponsoring organisation.

Nalanda University Courses and Fees

Accommodation and food are billed separately. Each semester, a Non-AC twin room costs INR 12,500, while an AC twin room costs INR 22,500. The semester meal charge is INR 22,420. A monthly fellowship of INR 35,000 helps full-time PhD scholars meet their hostel and living expenses.

Nalanda University Admission Process

Postgraduate applicants are first assessed through CUET PG, while the university conducts a separate selection process for doctoral candidates. International admissions are handled through designated scholarship and bilateral routes.

MA, M.Sc, and MBA Admission

NTA administers CUET PG, the Common University Entrance Test for Postgraduate programmes. Nalanda University considers the relevant CUET PG score when preparing its initial shortlist.
