Central University of Bihar (CUB) was established in 2009 under the Central Universities Act and later changed the name to Central University of South Bihar (CUSB Gaya) under the central universities amendment act, 2014. As an institute of higher learning in the state of Bihar, it works for the motto of “collective learning”. The University was awarded an “A” Grade NAAC. It is also approved by AICTE and UGC.
The university offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate programs in Science, Arts, Engineering, Law, Commerce, Education and Medical streams. Admission to UG and PG programs is provided based on a valid CUET score. For the M.Tech program, candidates are provided admission based on the GATE scores. A 5% relaxation will be provided in the cutoff marks for the candidates belonging to the SC, ST or OBC categories.

CUSB Gaya Admission
The admission process is solely based on scores secured in the CUCET examination and only after the declaration of exam results, candidates will be able to apply for courses in CUSB. The university follows UGC guidelines for its admission process.
