After the CAT 2024 result declaration, institutes will begin the selection process for MBA programmes, which will primarily include a personal interview round on the basis of the CAT 2024 cut-off.

The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have released the CAT 2024 Final Answer Key for the exam held on November 24, 2024. This answer key is finalised after addressing 405 objections raised during the objection window (December 3–5, 2024).

For CAT 2024, approximately 3.29 lakh applications were submitted. Among these, 2.93 lakh candidates appeared for the exam conducted on November 24, 2024. The attendance rate was 89%, with participation from 1.07 lakh female candidates, 1.86 lakh male candidates, and 5 transgender candidates.

The CAT 2024 score card will remain valid until December 31, 2025, and will be accessible on the official website during this period.

The CAT 2024 result date is expected to be scheduled in the second week of January 2025, as per the official brochure.
