The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has extended the CLAT 2025 registration last date. Eligible candidates now can register for the exam till October 22, 2024 (11.59 PM). Register on the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in/clat-2025 with your mobile number and password. CLAT registration started on July 15, 2024. Previously, the last date to register was October 15, 2024. Candidates are advised to submit the registration before the deadline to avoid any last-minute hassle.

Common Law Admission Test offers admission to UG and PG law courses offered by participating NLUs. CLAT 2025 exam is scheduled to be conducted on December 1, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM. Candidates from the PWD category will get 40 minutes extra to attempt the exam.

Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the exam must meet the following CLAT eligibility criteria:

UG (Five Year Integrated Law Degree)
  • Pass 10+2 or equivalent exam
  • Appearing in the qualifying exam in March/April 2025
  • 45% marks for General
  • 40% for SC/ST/PWD category candidates
PG (One Year LLM Degree)
  • Have an LLB degree or equivalent exam
  • Appearing in the qualifying exam in March/April 2025
  • 50% marks for General
  • 45% for SC/ST/PWD category candidates

Application Fee

To complete the online application, candidates must pay the CLAT registration fee according to the category:

Documents Required for Online Application

Candidates need to upload the following documents during the application process:

  • Front facing passport size recent photograph with a plain background
  • Signature of the candidate
  • Category certificate for SC/ST/OBC category candidates
  • PWD certificate issued by competent authority (if applicable)
  • BPL certificate issued by competent authority (if applicable)

Points to Remember:

  • Candidates also have to submit the original documents to the allotted University as per guidelines at the time of admission.
  • The candidate’s photograph and signature need not be attested before submission.
  • All documents should be uploaded in PDF format only.
