Eligibility Criteria For DUVASU UG/PG Admission 2025

The eligibility criteria for UG, PG, and Diploma courses at DUVASU are outlined below:-

Undergraduate Programs

To be eligible for undergraduate programs, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry: 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English
  • Bachelor of Technology (Biotechnology): 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology/Mathematics, and English
  • Bachelor of Technology (Dairy Technology): 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics, and English
  • Bachelor of Fisheries Science: 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English

PG Programs

The eligibility criteria for postgraduate programs are:

  • M.V.Sc (Various Subjects): B.V.Sc and AH
  • Ph.D. (Various Subjects – College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry): M.V.Sc in the relevant subject
  • M.Sc /M.V. Sc, M.Tech (Biotechnology): Bachelor's degree in life sciences/ biological sciences as per university prospectus
  • M.Tech: 4-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering with biology or related subjects
  • Ph.D. (Biotechnology – College of Biotechnology): Master's degree M.Sc or M.Tech in a branch of science related to Biotechnology and Bioinformatics
  • M.Sc /M.Tech (Dairy Science): Four-year degree in B.Tech/B.Sc (Dairying) in relevant subjects as per university prospectus
  • M.F.Sc (Aquaculture – College of Fisheries Science): Bachelor's degree in Fisheries Science

Diploma Programs

The eligibility criteria for diploma programs are:

  • Diploma in Livestock Extension/ Diploma in Veterinary Pharmacy: 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English
