
BITS Pilani has released the BITSAT 2026 Exam dates on its official website bitsadmission.com for admission to its undergraduate programme 2026-27. The exam will be conducted in two sessions.
BITS Pilani BE is offered in 8 specialisations as its flagship course. Admissions are based on the candidate’s 10+2 scores and BITSAT Scores, or via the Direct Admission to Board Toppers Scheme. Foreign Nationals are enrolled based on their SAT Scores. Besides B.E., BITS Pilani courses include B.Pharm. and M.Sc.

Ques: What will happen if I forget to select a test slot while applying for BITSAT 2026?
Ans: In case any candidate does not book a slot for BITSAT 2026 Exam date, the system will automatically assign a random date and time as per available preferences.
Ques: What happens if I miss my allotted BITSAT 2026 exam date? Will there be any re-exam?
Ans: In case you missed your allotted exam date, there is no provision for re-examination for that session. If you have registered for both sessions, the second session can still be attempted. If not, then you can register again for the second session to appear for BITASAT 2026.
BITSAT 2026 will be a 3-hour (180 minutes) online exam with 130 MCQ-based questions. The questions will be divided into 4 sections. There will be +3 marks for correct answers and -1 mark for incorrect attempts.

Ques: My Class 12 exam results will be declared after 1st June 2026. Am I eligible to apply for BITSAT 2026?
Ans: For admissions to the first degree programme 2026-27 which starts in July or August, candidates must have their results before June.
Ques: When will the BITSAT 2026 admit card be released?
Ans: The admit card is expected to be released in April 2026 for BITSAT Session 1 and in May 2026 for Session 2.
Ques: When will BITSAT 2026 counselling start?
Ans: The counselling and iteration rounds for BITSAT 2026 will begin from July 2026 onwards.
