IIT Mandi Himachal Pradesh released the shortlisted candidates list for PhD Interview 2024. All the shortlisted candidates will receive a separate communication with more details about the selection process.

IIT Mandi PhD Shortlisting Criteria
The shortlisting criteria of IIT Mandi for PhD Programme is as follows:
- Candidates must have a valid GATE/NET score or any other equivalent National Level examination in Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
- NET/JRF/JEST qualified and DSTINSPIRE candidates are considered.
- The category-wise GATE Score Cutoff is as follows:
- GEN/OBC (CL) >= 450
- EWS >= 335
- OBC (NCL) >= 300
- SC >= 270
- ST >= 250
- Candidates who don't have valid Gate scores or have not qualified for any National Level Examination must have a minimum of 8.7 CGPA in both UG and PG degrees.
- CFTI Candidates must have a CGPA greater than 9.0 in the relevant subject in B.Tech./B.E. degree.
