Talking about the fests, there are three major fests in IIT MANDI namely Rann-Neeti(Sports Fest around october),Xpecto(Tech Fest) and Exodia(Cultural Fest). Hostels in the IIT MANDI are not so big(like other IIT's).One hostel has the average capacity of 120 students only.Facilities in hostels are -> WiFi, Water(no hot water in winters),Sports equipments(like volley, basketball,badminton rackets),A LED and Table Tennis in the Common Room of every Hostel. In rooms there is one bed, one study table and one cupboard for one person. No cooler or AC is there(That is not required also). Mess here are average type(like mostly IIT's) but better than the KOTA ones.There are till no hostel integrated mess. Library is good having discussion rooms, group meeting rooms, conference rooms, no noise rooms. The books here are good but less in quantity.You will not find the desired book at the time of the exams(It will be already issued by other studens, lol :) )

The college has both hostel and mess faculty. They both have good infrastructure and mess provided us health and protein and hygiene food. They change mess menu every day but they keep rotti and dal daily both afternoon and night.

Campus life is very good and amazing and exciting it's feel amazing to give at the sky during the night which gives the best moment of the after hectic day the seniors are very helpful and also guiders for the better future

Along with the beautiful campus, Iit Mandi is full of great minded. People seniors helps juniors a lot. Faculty also helps the children for their future. There are a lot of festivals celebrated in the college to demonstrate the diversity of people from various parts of India. The college also organises some fest like exodia, expecto Raneeti. These are all technical, cultural and sports fest. College also celebrate Janmashtami as one of the huge festival.

Exodia: Cultural fest of the IIT Mandi in the month of March-April Xpecto: Technical fest of the IIT Mandi in the month of April Ranneti: Sports Fest of the IIT Mandi in the month of October-November Classrooms are quite good and advanced. All sports are available in the campus.

Fests:- 1.) Expecto(Technical feat) 2.) Exodia(Cultural fest) 3.) Rann-Neeti(Sports fest) 4.) Kala(A cultural event in which auction happens for teams and teams compete in the different cultural activities like dance, art, design, acting and drama) The sports facilities include all kinds of sports one would like to play especially cricket, football, badminton, basketball, Squash, Table tennis, Tennis, Swimming, Weightlifting, Athletics etc. The quality of equipments is not good in my college and also there is no synthetic track for athletics due to limited space in mountains. But other indorr sports have properly maintained synthetic courts and grounds.

The campus life is like heaven , the campus is between the mountains . The air is too pure , and there is everything inside the campus that a student needs for daily life , like canteens, all types of shops like barber , convenient, cafes and Supermarket.

Sports fest: Raneeti Generally in November Technical fest: Xpecto generally in march Cultural fest: Exodia generally in April IIT Mandi conducts a sports ,technical and cultural fests welcoming many other colleges to participate in-campus. IIT Mandi has 3 libraries with rich collection of books and journals. Also the classrooms are well furnished with projectors and benches. There are several active clubs in campus like E-cell, Kamand prompt(Programming club), Nirmann club, Space and Astronomy club and lots more. There are also several projects like Mars Rover, Supra(Car) etc. going on which is really exciting.

Not that interesting it’s kinda boring , after Modi government or after our new director appointment there’s not much happening in campus only srudies are being promoted to the highest level all other extra curricular activities have disappeared in last 3 years

IIT Mandi is filled with life and with differences, giving you a unique opportunity to soak in academics, social life and extracurriculars together. A peaceful and inspiring scenic campus is produced. The institute has many active clubs like robotics, coding, drama, music, dance, etc with many social initiatives through NSS, Himalayan explorer’s club. Major highlights include, the annually fests such as for RannNeeti at October and for Exodia (cultural) at March. Books, journals, and e resources are available in the library. The classrooms are modern, with smart boards and projectors. Cricket, football, badminton and gym are sports facilities. Clubs and events are managed by student run groups to foster a collaborative, fun campus culture. Life is dynamic life is joyful here.
