Basically, we have Placement cell which tell us which company is company so that we can prepare for that in our 2nd year-end semester exams. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Zomato all big tech company come in our campus for recruitment.

Placement and Job opportunities are great in my college but the thing is that students beed to work really hard for getting placements, have a good CGPA and have nice skillset. It is not like if you are in an IIT then you are getting placed for sure. You need to work hard.

As of now , I am in first year , so I don't have any internship. But for seniors, they get nice placement and internship. Many seniors went abroad and many worked for big companies like Google , amazon. But for the worst case , if no employability is offered , and if you have interest in research then you can get stipend for working on the campus as our college is very good for research and innovation.

There is no as such eligibility criterion for sitting in placements. But you must get a good cgpa preferably above 8 for a higher chance of getting shortlisted by companies. Some of top visited recruiters are Infosys, Microsoft, Amazon, HCL, TCS etc. According to data of 2024 highest package offered was 52lakhs and average was 22lakhs. with about 72% placement ration. I have planned to sit in interviews and get a good package in the in-campus placements

As phd student i dont have much experience on this,but earlier when older director or other government congress was there it was healthy.after corona there is a big downfall in placements of all kinds

There are great placements at IIT Mandi, top companies come to visit every year. It includes a minimum CGPA (most times it is 6 and above) along with other requirements of the companies. Those roles are software, data science, consulting, and core engineering and include recruiters such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs and Tata. Last year, the highest package was ?60 LPA and the average package of ?15 LPA. Every year, more than ninety percent of students get placed and also in variety of higher study or research opportunities. After exploring the career opportunities available in my field I intend to either seek a certain role where my skills are aligned, or strive for higher education specialization.

There is a career and placement cell which work hardly and dedicatelly for students to provide them placements and internships. For placement, student must get average cg above 7 and student don't have any interdisciplinary action to the duration of course. Microsoft, Google, Adobe, intel, Samsung and many more companies recruit students from campus. The highest package is 71 LPA and average is 12 to 13 LPA offered IIT Mandi. Most of the companies recruit for tech fields such as software engineer, web developer, data analyst etc. This year (2024) almost 60 to 70 percent students have placed in both core and non core companies. My plan after graduation is to get a high paying job in tech field.

The eligibility criteria for placements if 7+ CGPA, which is indeed not hard to get. About 200+ companies come here for placements, which are mostly tech oriented. It is not that core companies don't come, but they don't give those huge packages. Some of the companies that come here are Zomato, Nvidia, Flipkart, Google, Indian Oil etc.

Placements are too good for circuital branches but a little fall is observed in the last years. Also enough opportunities are provided to students for preparation. All good companies like Fanf comes to college.

placement and job opportunities were fine till 2021 the ratio of the placement has started declining since then. Google, Microsoft, Adobe visited here. more than 70 percent getting placed. my plan is to get a job from here and do that after my graduation.
