The Central Board of Secondary Education Board has announced the schedule for Practical Examinations, Projects, and Internal Assessments. For the academic year 2024-25, CBSE Class 10 and 12 Practical Examinations and related assessments are scheduled on January 1, 2025, for all affiliated schools in India and abroad. However, for winter-bound schools, Practical Examinations/ Projects/ Internal Assessments for Classes 10 and 12 will be conducted from 5 November 2024 (Tuesday) to 5 December 2024 (Thursday).

Winter-Bound Schools Must Ensure

• Prepare the Final List of Candidates: Ensure that the final list of candidates is prepared and that only those students whose names have been submitted in the online List of Candidates (LOC) are allowed to participate in the practical examinations, projects, and internal assessments.

• Appointment of Examiners: Contact the Regional Office to arrange for the appointment of external examiners and observers. 

• Timely Completion and Dispatch: Ensure that all Practical Examination, Project work, and Internal Assessments are completed within the given time frame. Also, dispatch the practical examination answer books to the respective regional offices without delay.

Note - These instructions and dates are specifically for winter-bound schools. Regular session schools will receive a separate circular regarding their examination schedule and requirements.
