Students expressed mixed opinions about the exam. While many found the Mathematics section challenging, the Chemistry and Physics sections were rated as easy to moderate.

Here are the important topics covered in JEE Main 2025 Jan 2 Shift 2 exam:

• Mathematics: Hyperbola, Ellipse, AP, Conic section, Complex numbers, Area under the curve, Matrices, Sequence and Series
• Physics: Lens, logic gate, Ray optic, electrostatic, semiconductor, projectile motion, units and dimensions, kinematics, Fluid, Gravitation
• Chemistry: Dipole moment, Electrochemistry, Biomolecules, Chemical bonding, Coordination compound, Ionic Equilibrium, P Block, Thermodynamics

NTA will officially issue the JEE Main 2025 cutoff along the results later. However, candidates can check the expected cutoff based on previous year trends and this year’s difficulty level:

NTA has rescheduled the JEE main 2025 Session 1 exam for 114 candidates who appeared for the exam at Examination Centre eTalent, (TC Code-40086), No.3, Belmar Estate, Nagasandra Main Rd, Bengaluru, Karnataka on 22 January 2025 (Shift-I). This happened due to some unavoidable technical snag. The exam for the affected candidates will be held on January 28 or 29, 2025. They will also be issued revised admit card with the updated exam date, shift, and center.

NTA starts JEE Main 2025 Jan 22 Shift 2 exam at 3 PM. The exam will be ongoing till 6 PM. Latecommers or candidates without proper documents will not be allowed to sit for the exam.

NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 admit card on January 18, 2025 for January 22, 23, and 24 exams. Candidates must download the admit card from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in with their application number and password. Make sure you download the admit card and take a print out before entering the exam center.

Candidates can start entering the JEE Main exam center for the Shift 2 exam. They must complete the pre-exam security checks and other formalities well in advance. JEE main 2025 shift 2 starts at 3 PM. 

In today's Shift 1 exam, the following topics were included:

• Mathematics: Statistics, Probability, Vectors and 3D Geometry, Matrices, Determinants, Permutation and Combination. 
• Physics: De Broglie Wavelength, SMR, and Potentiometer, Ray, Optics, Heat, Semiconductor, Capacitator.
• Chemistry: Mole Concept, Catalysts, Biomolecules, Physical and Orgamic Chemistry

Following the conclusion of the JEE Main 2025 January 22 Shift 1 exam, students shared their initial reactions, indicating that the Mathematics section was lengthy. Physics and Chemistry were rated as easy to moderate. Overall, the paper was comparable in difficulty to the January 27 shift exam from last year.

JEE Main 2025 Jan 22 Shift 1 exam has started at 9 AM. This is a 3 hour exam for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech). Shift 1 ends at 12 noon.

NTA does not allow the following items to be brought into the JEE Main 2025 examination hall:

• Any electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, etc.
• Stationary items (except if you are attempting B.Arch Paper 2A ‘drawing test’ and a simple ballpoint pen)
• Eatables
• Bags/wallets/watches
• Any bits of paper or written text

• Avoid wearing metallic items such as rings, bracelets, earrings, or decorative embellishments.
• Thick-soled shoes are not allowed.
• Choose simple and comfortable attire.
• Scarves of any kind should be avoided.

JEE Main Session 1 BE/BTech paper will take place in two shifts: the first shift will run from 9 AM to 12 noon, and the second shift from 3 PM to 6 PM. Candidates must reach the exam center at leats 30 minutes before the reporting time.
