JEE Main Jan 29 Shift 1 Paper Analysis

JEE Main Jan 29 Shift 1 paper was moderate overall. Mathematics remained challenging, while Physics and Chemistry were rated easy to moderate. Check the subject-wise analysis here:

  • Chemistry: Easy to moderate; included questions from Biomolecules, Halogens, Optical Rotation, and CFSE
  • Physics: Moderate; key topics were Dimensions, Time Period in Pendulum, Wavelength, and Kinetic Energy
  • Mathematics: Tough, with 3-4 questions from Vectors

JEE Main 2025: January 29 Shift 2 Exam Analysis

The JEE Main 2025 Shift 2 exam on January 29 was moderate to tough overall. While Mathematics was challenging and lengthy, Chemistry was moderate, and Physics was formula-based with a balanced difficulty level.

Section-wise Difficulty Analysis:

  • Mathematics: Moderate to tough, with some lengthy and tricky questions.
  • Chemistry: Moderate; most questions were NCERT-based. Inorganic chemistry had a higher weightage, while Organic chemistry was relatively easier. Some questions combined concepts from Physical and Organic Chemistry.
  • Physics: Mostly formula-based. Key topics included:
    • Modern Physics – 2 questions
    • Electrostatics – 2-3 questions
    • Current Electricity – 1 question
    • Ray Optics – 3 question

The applicants who are to appear for JEE Main 2025 have to carry:

  • Admit Card: A printed copy of the JEE Main 2025 Admit Card along with the self-declaration form.

  • Photograph: One passport-sized photograph similar to the one uploaded during registration.
  • Photo ID: Original photo ID (such as an Aadhaar card, voter ID, or passport).
  • PwD Certificate: For those falling in the PwD category.

JEE Exam Day Guidelines

  • Arrive at the exam center at least 2 hours before the scheduled time.
  • Follow all pre-exam instructions and cooperate during security checks.
  • Confirm if the question paper displayed on the screen has any inconsistencies.
  • Do not swap seats without authorization as this would result in one's disqualification.

JEE Main 2025 Rescheduling and Center Updates

  • Bengaluru Center: Rescheduled exams from January 22 Shift 1 due to technical issues are being conducted on January 28 and 29.
  • Prayagraj Center: Candidates for January 28–30 exams have been shifted to centers in Varanasi.
  • Ayodhya Center Change: Due to Mahakumbh, the Ayodhya exam center has been relocated to SRS Digital Institute.

Candidates must download their updated admit cards from jeemain.nta.nic.in to verify the new details.
