The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has started the KCET 2025 Physics exam today at 10:30 A.M. Candidates must carry their KCET 2025 admit card along with a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre and strictly adhere to the prescribed KCET 2025 dress code and exam day guidelines. The KCET 2025 Shift 2 exam for the Chemistry paper is scheduled to be held on April 16 from 2:30 P.M. to 3:50 P.M.

Candidates who are appearing for KCET 2025 are again reminded to bring their KCET 2025 admit card along with one valid photo ID to the examination center without fail. KEA has also requested all contenders to follow the KCET dress code 2025 and exam day instructions strictly to ensure a free and fair examination process.

KCET 2025 Bell Timings and Exam Instructions

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has set specific bell timings to guide candidates through the KCET 2025 exam process smoothly. Here’s a breakdown of the bell schedule and important instructions:

• First Bell:
  Rings at 10:20 AM for the morning session and 2:20 PM for the afternoon session.
  Candidates must complete verification by showing their admit card and valid ID proof, take their assigned seats, and wait for further instructions. The invigilator will verify the candidate’s photograph on the admit card, ID proof, and Nominal Roll, and then distribute the OMR answer sheets.

Candidates should fill in their Name (in Capital Letters) and CET Number on the OMR sheet, ensuring the CET number matches the one on the admit card.

• Second Bell:
  Rings at 10:30 AM for the morning session and 2:30 PM for the afternoon session.
  The sealed question paper packets will be distributed to invigilators. Two candidates will be asked to sign as witnesses before the question paper packets are opened.

• Question Paper Distribution:
  At 10:35 AM / 2:35 PM, the question papers will be opened and handed over to candidates. Candidates must fill in the Question Booklet Code, Nominal Roll Number, and sign on the OMR sheet.
  Note: Do not open the question paper or start answering until the next bell.

• Third Bell:
  At 10:40 AM and 2:40 PM, candidates are allowed to open the question paper and begin answering by shading the correct options on the OMR sheet.
  No entry or exit is allowed after this bell until the exam ends.

• Fourth Bell (First Caution Bell):
  Sounds at 11:10 AM for Shift 1 and 3:10 PM for Shift 2, indicating that 30 minutes of the exam have passed.

• Fifth Bell (Second Caution Bell):
  Rings at 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM, signaling that only 20 minutes remain for the exam to conclude.

• Sixth Bell (Final Caution Bell):
  Rings at 11:45 AM and 3:45 PM, announcing that only 5 minutes are left.

• Seventh Bell (End of Exam):
  At 11:50 AM for the morning session and 3:50 PM for the afternoon session, marking the end of the exam.
  Invigilators will instruct candidates to stop writing, collect the OMR sheets, separate the Office Copy (top sheet), and return the Candidate Copy (bottom sheet) and the question paper booklet to the candidates.

KCET 2025 Exam Day Guidelines

KEA released a guideline for students who will be attending the exam:

• Adhere to the mandatory KCET dress code 2025.
• Report to the exam centre at least 45 minutes prior to the commencement of the exam.
• Remain at the centre until the completion of the exam.
• Bring the KCET 2025 admit card and one proof of a valid photo ID.
• Avoid bringing prohibited items such as mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, and other electronic items.

KCET 2025 Answer Key

KEA will release the KCET 2025 official answer key shortly on its website kea.kar.nic.in. The answer key will be downloadable once released and candidates will also be able to raise objections within a given time frame. Once all valid objections are reviewed, KEA will release the final answer key, which will be used to declare the KCET 2025 results.

Candidates should remain updated via KEA's official website and comply with all exam-related regulations to avoid disqualification.

KCET 2025 Dress Code Guidelines

As per the guidelines inspired by NTA’s dress code for entrance exams like NEET, candidates appearing for KCET 2025 are advised to avoid wearing heavy clothing or outfits with long sleeves. In the case of candidates opting for cultural or traditional attire, it is recommended that they reach the exam centre at least one hour before the final reporting time, which is set at 12:30 PM.

Regarding footwear, only slippers or sandals with low heels are allowed. Wearing closed shoes is strictly prohibited. If a candidate requires a specific type of clothing or footwear due to medical conditions, they must obtain prior permission from KEA before the issuance of the admit card.

Additionally, candidates who wear religious or traditional accessories such as turbans, scarves, or faith-based items are advised to report at least two hours early to allow sufficient time for security checks and smooth completion of the frisking process.
