Mahatma Gandhi Central University released the shortlisted candidates list for PhD Admission in the Department of Computer Science and IT. Selected candidates must appear for the interview on January 30, 2025, at the MGCUB campus.

MGCUB PhD Admission Key Points

• The merit list will be based on the composite score of marks for relevant examinations and marks for the PhD Viva-Voce.
• The candidates are required to Deposit Fees through the Samarth Portal (online) as per the schedule.
• Candidates are required to bring a Research Proposal (5 hard copies) and PPT (Maximum 10 slides) during the interview.

Documents Required for MGCUB PhD Admission

Candidates must bring the following original documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies of the same:

• Online application form
• Mark sheets and certificates of Class 10th and 12th
• Marks sheet and Certificate of Graduation and post-graduation
• Certificate of CSIR-UGC-NET-JRF/NET/NET for PhD admission
• Five recent passport-size photographs
• Aadhar card.
• Extra-/Co-Curricular Activities Certificates, if any
• Bank Account details of the student i.e. Account No., IFSC-Code, and Name of account holder & address of Bank
• Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended
• Transfer/Migration Certificate (in original) from the Head of the Institution /University last attended
• Affidavit for intervening period/gap of over three years, if applicable on 100/-stamp paper
• SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwD/EWS latest Certificate, wherever applicable
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Employers, wherever applicable
• Anti-ragging forms duly signed by the students & parents/guardians
