The two-day media festival Media Verse at Vivekananda Global University wrapped up on January 28 with high energy and enthusiasm. Held on January 27 and 28 on campus, the event offered students a dynamic platform to display their skills through diverse activities centred on media, communication, and creative expression.
On the concluding day of Media Verse, the Patron of Vivekananda Global University, M. R. Bagaria, delivered the keynote address. He highlighted media as a reflection of society and urged young minds to harness it for positive transformation, stressing creativity, ethical journalism, and innovation. He also commended the organisers, faculty, and students for making the fest a success.
The Chief Guest of the programme, Khushi Bagaya, interacted with students and emphasised that confidence, perseverance, and faith in one’s aspirations pave the way to success. She encouraged young participants to sharpen their skills and fully utilise opportunities offered by such platforms. Her presence brought added warmth to the event and energised everyone involved.
As part of the two-day Media Verse festival at Vivekananda Global University, students took part in multiple competitions, including reel making, film making, fashion show, open mic, and Ad-Mad. The reel and film contests highlighted social themes, youth viewpoints, and imaginative storytelling. The fashion show featured confident, creative ramp walks that drew enthusiastic applause. During the open mic, participants shared poetry, stories, songs, and personal experiences, while the Ad-Mad event saw teams crafting impactful advertisements under time constraints, showcasing their creativity and teamwork.
Students displayed high energy and active involvement across all events at Media Verse at Vivekananda Global University. The fest focused not just on competition but also on offering hands-on media exposure while nurturing teamwork, leadership, and presentation skills. Alongside learning, participants enjoyed an engaging mix of creativity and entertainment. The valedictory ceremony concluded with winners being honoured and awards being presented by distinguished guests, inspiring and motivating all participants.
The programme wrapped up with a vote of thanks, as the organising committee acknowledged the support of the university management, dignitaries, faculty, and students. Overall, Media Verse at Vivekananda Global University stood out as more than just a festive competition—it became a meaningful and enriching experience that inspired learning, creativity, and personal growth among participants.
