No, I got direct admission to this university as it was the only university nearest to my home so I decided to take admission here it's was affordable for me so my parents also agreed with me to join this university for my professional course.
Course Curriculum Overview :
When you come to university newly they will treat you very well but as time passes they don't take care much they are good they take everyday classes and notes they are very good and never miss classes.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I have done many internships from college and I got many certificates for my resume the certificates are very helpful for me I have done it online by IBM and Python, which helped me a lot to gain knowledge.
Placement Experience :
The placement of the campus is very good many of our seniors got placement in very big companies like Flipkart, Audi, Nescafe etc and the placement starts from the 6th sem and the minimum amount of salary is 5lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There is a semester fee which we have to give in every 6 months, 1semeter is for 6 months, so in a year we have to pay 1.86lakhs and per semester it's 93k and there is a scholarship for the students who earn more than 7 cgpa.
Campus Life :
The campus is natural and peaceful because it's far away from the road so there is no noise pollution and the campus is full of greenery and there is a field to play cricket volleyball basketball long tennis etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The is quite good and the room is also good as it costs 38k per semester for a hostel for a 4seater room and the hostel is covered with CCTV camera and the message food is good but if you eat the same food every day you will feel bored and you can't digest it.

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.
