- If I have to say, then I will definitely say about the campus life. Also I have to tell about the sports facilities that Kaziranga University provides to students. Yes, that’s the thing that I like most about the college.
Remarks :
The factors that made me choose this college is because this University is nearby to my town and also it’s fee structure is much lesser than any other private universities. Also it is one of the most reputed university in NorthEast India. In my admission time, there was no any group discussion, interviews or written test. I I got admission through Merit basis. Yes, University offers an entrance which is conducted by the university itself and also you can get a scholarship through through the marks that you secured in KUEST THAT IS KAZIRANGA UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE AND SCHOLARSHIP TEST. The entrance test is not compulsory for all the students, but if you want to give the entrance, then you can definitely opt for it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course is of three years which is divided into six semesters and if I am going to talk about a faculties, yes, they are very good. Also, they focus on more in practical lessons also, they teach us theories of the following subjects that they were assigned. There are many two exams, one is midterm and one is end term both has a gap of six months in between. Most of the faculty had qualification of PhD. Also, some of the faculties are from IIT and IIM. Yes, they the teach the students in the way in which students are comfortable.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I have not opted for any internship because at that time I was attending a NCC camp which was held in our own university itself, so I couldn’t attend any internship, but yes, internships are given here.
Placement Experience :
no, I have not upset for any internships, but yes, internships are given, but it is not paid. You have to do it for free. Placement are also given here. The highest package for BTech and MBA are 12,00,00 per annum and average packages are 3,00,000 to 4,00,00 per annum. The eligibility criteria for placement depends upon various companies, but the main eligibility criteria is you have to maintain a CP. Also you have to maintain 75% attendance in your course that’s the minimum requirement to sit in placement. Some of the recruiting companies named Flipkart, Accenture , Audi, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For my course that is BCA now it is about 1,80,000 yearly and about scholarship details. KU offers scholarship based on merit which is up to hundred percent also it offers scholarship based on sports certificate which is also up to hundred percent also it offers defence scholarship, which is up to 25%. The tuition fees for BCA is 30,000 per semester and all the fees which is development fees lab fee and other compulsory charges are included in the course fees itself. The one-time admission fees is 20,000 for all the courses and the one-time registration fees. ?10,000 for all the courses. There is no as such quota system for admission. my batch mates also pay ?30,000 per semester for BCA, but some of them are availing scholarship based on merit and also based on defence, so they are paying a lesser face as compared to mine.
Campus Life :
Campus life at Kaziranga University is awesome because it offers many sports facilities like volleyball court, basketball court, badminton court, cricket ground, football ground, tennis court, etc. Also it has an awesome nightlife. Also it’s campus is a very lusty green campus. The students would love the campus because of the nightlife and also club facilities are very good here. Kaziranga universities offers various clubs like body and soul club, which is mainly focus for sports literacy, clubs, which is mainly focus on any art activities and many other clubs are there which offers many of the facilities.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, I am staying in hostel in Kaziranga university. if I’m going to talk about hostel mess, then it’s pretty good enough because it’s hygienic. Also, the food is good, but it’s not like Home. And talking about Profes, they can definitely apply for the hostel rooms through the university website, or you can directly come to the campus and apply right here.

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.
