So mainly in Assam, Kaziranga University is the only private university that offers B.Optometry course in a very low fee so, we can take the course in this university and get our future bright through our knowledge
Course Curriculum Overview :
The University Faculty members are very good and knowledgeable to what they taught and they are just like friends. And the communication skills of the faculty members are just wow , amazing and totally different from other universities
Internships Opportunities :
Internship i got on Jorhat Medical College on Opthalmologist that cares of eye and with the experience I can definitely say that the knowledge I got from the university is very good and the practical’s are so helpful for me.
Placement Experience :
Job offers here on the basis of what do you learn and through the internship experience and if you have a good mental mind you can get a good job through the course you have selected and yes the university offers its own job also.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees of the B.Optometry course is Rs 30,000 per semester and 60,000 per year and also you have to pay a registration fee of Rs 10,000 on the admission time. And later on the admission we have to pay a total sum of 40,000 then from the next semester we have to pay 30,000 till the end
Campus Life :
The University campus life is amazing. The university have a hastag to hangout and a great environment with tress and good decoration to have fun. The university have basket ball court , football , cricket , badminton and a football club too.
Hostel Facilities :
I have obtained a hostel its name is Orang and the hostels are anti ragging. Foods of the hostels are good and the main thing is that we have 2 bed 3 bed and 4 bed rooms and AC room too. Just going to say premium hostel

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
