Remarks :
The major factor why I chose this college were it's location is very good, the infrastructure is very well maintained the hostel rooms have AC and the professors are world class with best possible knowledge and good placements
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course consists of computer science, Introduction to programming, machine and human interaction, linear maths digital circuits and communication courses. The exams are overall taken regularly and the quizes are also counted in the cgpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The first installment goes through a transaction of 95000 in JAC counselling then the next installment is of 1,42,000 to the direct website for the first semister. The additional hostel and mess fee together is of 52000 for 3 months.
Campus Life :
The social life is very active at our campus. The sports complex is well equipped. The clubs are active and play a very important role in managing all the events that take place for example Odyssey, the cultural fest or essya the tech fest.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
