I took a written test called JEE Mins to get admission to this college. Their up-to-date curriculum and high placement rates at my time were the things that attracted me to this college. Also, the friendly environment makes everything very nice. The college being in bustling Delhi has quality-of-life perks
The course curriculum is robust, and flexible if you are a CSE student. For other courses, there are a few restrictions like making sure you do you have to do enough courses of your stream while doing anything else. Faculty are very friendly and helpful.
No, internships have been quite hard in the current market, but we have been applying offline with some success. The big companies have picked up dozens of students but there have been very few small companies that have come to our college
We have campus placement where the criteria are very basic, you need to have a CGPA of above 6 to sit from the college side, however companies may have their own criteria implemented if they want a more selective pool of students.
Tuition Fee- 425000 Alumni Fee- 2000 one time Security Amount- 10000 one time refundable Hostel Security- 10000 one-time refundable Mess Charges - 16000 Hostel Charges - 68000 We are from the COVID batch, so our batch has constant fees, but our juniors have higher fees with their fees increasing by 10% every year. The entire batch has the same fees. but different years have different amount of fees.
Campus life is fire, we have several clubs constantly organizing events and have an amazing fest called Odessey where so many big-name performers come. Sport Infra is great; we have a decent gym and swimming pool. The grounds also have high masts to illuminate the grounds at night. The canteen is open 24x7 and we have 3-4 cafes as well.
Mess food is tolerable. Old hostels are a bit cramped, but the new hostels are better than most colleges in India. We also have AC in summer from 6 pm to 6 am and a Heater in the winter for the same duration.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
