- I would want to make academics more student friendly and take students mental health in consideration.
- I want them to maintain hostels the same way the maintain the LHC and RND buildings.
Dislikes
- The curriculum is really strict and very difficult to manage. This week we had 5 heavy submissions. I have to make Angry birds in java(while I'm writing this review). We have math quizzes every week.
Remarks :
no i decided to get into this college on my own. I researched about every college on my own. I read the reviews and got to know that the curriculum is really good. I visited the college itself beforehand.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum is really hard. Things are difficult to manage. We get assignments back to back with parallel submissions (Submission on same day or +-1 day). We have to manage things somehow. Because of this we are not able to study for main tests regularly.
Internships Opportunities :
No I've not opted of any internship. I'm still trying to land on one. I want to get the experience and make my resume better. This causes internal healthy competition among students. We know what we need to work on.
Placement Experience :
It's alright, we have been guided enough because we are in second year but i hope they do it properly in 3rd or 4th. Students do get enough opportunities to get exposure either by unpaid internships or by working on projects.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
it is about 20 lakhs and it increases every year. There are many scholarships available, like the one where college reimburses 50% or something on laptop purchase and there are other scholarships available
Campus Life :
Students are always busy with things and always are burdened with assignments and weekly quizzes. Events happen, mostly are paid. which are not paid are very basic either they don't get enough budget or they keep the money to themselves.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel H1 and H2 are properly furnished and maintained but old boys is in poor condition. Mess is alright the food is good but they do chinnarpanti whenever i ask for more panner or chicken pieces or gulab jamun.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
