- I like the Research and Developemnt building it's piece of art the entrance the surrounding it's just gem all 6 department are their and pHd students do their work in Rnd. It has a high end studio to record events like pod cast and other thing Since i'm in Design department we have drawing tablet to draws and custom made pc for editing and grpahic designing work. paint shop and many more.
- the computer labs and library best place to study at night since they are open 24/7, also the empty lectures also the treat for self study. library has three floors ground floor has tables chairs, discussion rooms, conference room, groud study rooms, over all it's quiet zone and 2nd and 3rd floor have 3 room one is quiet zone, group study and last is casual study it has mats to sit on floor an bean bags to relax.
Dislikes
- there's nothing to dislike about the college if i have to say somehting i should say in college some years back they've yulu now they're gone that the part i don't like. if they come back it will be great.
- In winters many water coolers in campus give cold water especially in hostel i heard from many friends in hostels you have to boil the water in winters since none of them give normal water to drink but they have geaser in each bathroom for baths so you don't have to worry for that part but bring the kettle to boil the water in winters.
Remarks :
I choose this College because of it's graduall increasing in reputation and Placement Statistics over the years. Also it's new compare to the older JAC colleges(DTU, NSUT) which got higher cutoff but most of the higher Rank opt for this college because of it's better enviornment and facilities. For sure I can guarantee the infrastructure and Facilities like high-end computer labs with gret desktop and desigining features it's best. The Avg. placement Package for it's B.Tech student is also a attractive feature for me choosing this.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Studetnts must earn a minimum of 156 credit from vairous courses, including 4-credit, 2-credit, or 1-credit courses, over the span of 4 year to graduate. Courses registration is required for every semester except the first one. In the first semester, all student of B.Tech take the same set of pre-registered courses. Freshers typically have a total of 5 subject each has 4 credit in First semester. From the second year onward, brach-specific subjects are introduced to some extent. almost Starting the third semseter student can choose subjects frm a list of electives. Use tech tree for that . SG & CW courses are mandatory 2 credit each aside from 156 credit. you can also enchance CG from B.Tech projects and research papers, etc.
Internships Opportunities :
since i'm in my 3rd semester i didn't opt for any internship i just can't because college allows in 3rd year but i have participate in the IBM skillship internship program in DataScientist which give me insights about the resume preparation, i have made a weather model and trained it and get guidance from the iBM officials.
Placement Experience :
the key factor of this specific college for me to join is the placements statistics and opportunities. check iiit delhi website for the latest placements records. 22.04 LPA as avg package, and domestic highest is around 49 LPA and overall highest (international) is 109 LPA for btech graduates.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Even if the the college fees is 4.5 lakhs per year it will got increased every year so it won't be same for every year and you have to pay it semester wise. Since I enrolled in IIIT Delhi in 2023, so here's my Fee Structure of 2023 B.Tech. 1st year - 4,50,000 2nd Year - 4,75,000 3rd Year - 5,00,000 4th Year - 5,30,000 Also there's one time Alumini fee - 2,000 & Security Deposit - 10,000 So, in my First year I have to pay a sum of 4,62,000. In two semester as 2,32,000 each time for the first year and than so on. Hostel Fee Structure is like this for 2023 Batch 34,000 per Semester + 10,000 of security Deposit (excluding the Mess charges) Mess charges - 3,300 per month In this College IIIT Delhi there's only Tution Fee, Hostel Fee, ond one time Alumini Fee & Security Deposit. Remeber this Fee Structure is for student who got admission through JAC.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is so Hective because of assignments, projects, quizes a ton work load exclusive to IIIT Delhi but see that's the part of life to make you stronger and ready to face challenges in you corporate or someother fields. one thing you would really like is the infrastructure even being the very smaller campus it's has state of the architecture and facilities you have high grad lenovo and hp desktops, custom made pc for gaming and heavy workload you have to get permission or a purpose to use them but you can lenovo and hp high end pc in lab. we have our own Cafe and two nescafe across the campus. lots of greenry and garderning is always maintained and for social life even if you face any challenge college provide counsellor and also there's mentor program every student assigned it's personal mentor who is senior who already faced waht you're going through to help you with that. library, canteen+Mess, LHC, RnD buildings. sportsblocks + swimmingpool.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel are top notch here. There are total of 6 building or 3 pairs for boys named as old boys, H1 & h2 and 1 pair or 2 buldings for girls named as old girls+extension. there's a separate building only for food ground floor you have canteen 3 shops, laundry room with autmomatic washing machines, a juice shop and two foor mess with good quality food a variety of food on the menu. if you don't wanna awsh clothes yourself it also the dry cleaners who wash and ironed your clothes than deliver to you door step in hostel. hostel has rooms for 2 as wells as single occupancy for boys. You have to fill hostel request in advance to student affairs in advnace once approved pay the fees with mess fees and move in to your hostel room.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
