Factors that made me choose this college were a research-based culture and an academically driven environment. Further, the placements get the edge over other government colleges. Most importantly, this college has grown tremendously in the past few years and has made a reputed image. The only written test I've given for admission was JEE mains(Joint Entrance Exam). Some students often come internationally through DASA. There is also 75% board criteria for admission.
I chose Btech in electronics as it will be a booming branch in the coming years. India is going towards manufacturing, which will create opportunities in this field. The faculty are highly qualified, and most have international exposure. They have innovative teaching methods, making the class quite interactive. The exams have equal weightage. Whether it's mid-term or end-term. In addition to this, there are weekly quizzes that are equally important, like a term exam. The difficulty level of exams is quite high, especially in maths and programming. Students are allowed to bring cheat sheets in some as per course instructions. Plus, the assignments sometimes get quite challenging to complete.
Since I'm in my first year, I have been more into exploring college. However, there are decent internship opportunities in the college. Quite a few get the job at the start of 4th year itself. College is active there
Placement and job opportunities in the college are very bright, especially if a good CGPA is maintained, which is over 7.5. So the college itself is enough for getting into placements. However, since this year's recession has hit, there has been a downfall in placements at every engineering college even if it's an IIT. Almost every tech giant has recruited students from college. I've talked to seniors who got jobs at Google, Microsoft and Amazon On average, the placement is 15LPA to 18LPA. The highest placement varies every year 70-80% of the registered students get the placement. It's higher in the computer-related branch My plan after getting the degree is to pursue master from foreign like the USA
The fees are taken per semester. As I'm in the first semester, I've paid 142000 and 95000 as JAC counselling fees, which are added to the total expenses. Apart from the hostel, which is 54000 per semester, there are no further fees other than that. And yes, there are scholarships for economically weaker students. Also, they are given laptops. IDFC and SBI banks, as well as companies like Reliance and ONGC do provide scholarships. Below the poverty line, there is a total fee waiver. But one needs very proper documents for it.
Odyssey is one of the most popular cultural festivals of IIIT Delhi. It's usually conducted in January. Most of the books and research papers are available in the library. And new trend books are added from time to time. The library system is digitalized. Even though almost every kind of sport is available but, the ground and the area of the sports complex isn't impressive. There isn't much extracurricular activity as it mostly gets into academics. There is also a swimming pool with a heater and the gym is air-conditioned
The menu of food is pretty decent and nutritious. There is variety in the food, and the quality is home-like. Cleanliness is very well assured. The registration process for a hostel is followed by student ERP. Getting a hostel is challenging if the house distance is less than 30km. Outside Delhi, students are given preference. Hopefully, I got the hostel so the college is the locality. The hostel rooms are big and in good condition.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
