- No placement cell is being provided by the college.
- Syllabus remains incomplete and the students have to face problem.
Remarks :
Nothing sort of written exams or interview, only online admission is available. After declaring of online admission, students can apply for their preferable subjects. One can visit the portal at the time of admission and can see everything regarding the course fees and seat capacity.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Honestly, I had a great experience while being a student of MGC. The professors were actually very reliable and helpful and each and everyone of us have got enough facilities from the head of the department.
Internships Opportunities :
No. No internship is provided or available at the college. The college doesn't provide with any internship programmes. There are job related drives been held but no guarantee internship are there for the students.
Placement Experience :
So sorry to discuss about this but our college doesn't provide any placement opportunities for the students. The professors, sometimes discuss and the college unit held some drives but it doesn't help that much regarding job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have paid total amount for 3 years degree in sociology honours for 14500 approx for admission and for form fillup it costs me around 2000 approx. There are many governmental scholarships are available like swami vivekananda, kanyashree and others.
Campus Life :
The social structure at the campus was pleasant, the seniors were great at providing assistance to the juniors or to newbies. When I was a fresher, I have got helped from my seniors and even the union members of the college.
Hostel Facilities :
Sorry, as the distance between my college and home was not that much, probably 10-15mins. I don't have to stay at the hostel. And as I don't know much, it is better to talk with the college office staffs if anyone is interested in applying for a hostel.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
