Likes
- The campus is green and beautiful and very calming. It feels like a blessing just to be here, although the weather could be very unpredictable at times.
- The seniors and faculty are very helpful and students have access to all the facilities they would need to do better in life.
Dislikes
- The gym is not up to the mark, though there are many different machines but many of them are broken and not fit for use
- There are not enough options for hanging out and spending time with friends, or options for having a nice meal. Though there are cafes and restaurants but very limited and not too good.
Remarks :
Students had to appear for the ICAR exam to take admission in this university and I also did. Now students have to appear for CUET exam conducted at all India level. There are 3-4 counselling sessions conducted in the university itself for admitting students where document verification and everything takes place.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is very diverse and we are taught many different subjects that help us learning many different aspects of agriculture like research, field work, machinery and other technical parts and also how we can make our innovations and development reach the farmers at the ground level The faculty is very knowledgeable and very well versed but most of them are not very good teachers and students have to study mostly on their own
Internships Opportunities :
There are no internship programs offered in the university. The only mandatory internship program comes in the 4th year and an entire semester is spent doin it but that too is part of the course and necessary to obtain the degree and is provided by the University itself.
Placement Experience :
Though there is a placement cell in the university but it is not very active and the companies that come with job offers do not provide with very handsome salaries. Most students do not prefer to take up jobs from the University placement program. There are no internship programs offered by the university but if students want they can take up internships outside.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
A student has to pay 25000 every semester which includes tuition fees, library fees, sports facilities fees, cultural program fees etcetera. The fees might be increasing in the coming years. Students with quota can see a difference of around 5 to 6 thousand in their fees Students applying for self finance seats have to pay an extra 80000 every year along with the total fees.
Campus Life :
There are different clubs for cultural activities like music, dancing and all students are welcome to participate. The student organisation called agro club arranges for different events throughout the year in which students can showcase their talent. There are different turfs for different sports and athletic activities and a sports and athletics event takes place every year in which students of all 4 colleges of the university participate. There are different sports events throughout the year organised by students as well The infrastructure is good and comfortable and new spaces are also under construction

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
