- The faculty and staff are very helpful towards students and so are the seniors. Any person pursuing to get better in life is provided with all the necessary help
- The library of the university is grand, housing books of many renowned authors and some books that cannot even be found anywhere else. These books help you prepare for whatever you want to do in life.
Dislikes
- The campus, though big, does not constitute of many different facilities like cafes and eateries etcetera, though present but the choices are very limited
- The administration does not consider students to be a vital part of the system and student demands and needs are sometimes neglected
Remarks :
I had appeared for the ICAR exam to take admission in this college, but now students will have to appear in the CUET exam to secure seats, the preparation of which would not be very difficult for students appearing for NEET and JEE exams. The counselling process to take admission in this college happens in 3 to 4 rounds in which documents are verified
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum consists of many different subjects from different fields like agronomy, horticulture, forestry, engineering, economics, genetics etcetera and different students find different subjects easy or challenging. The faculty is good with knowledgeable people but at the end the students have to study on their own
Internships Opportunities :
There is a mandatory internship program in the fourth year for completion of degree that all students must do. The internship spans over a whole semester and the stipend in this internship program depends on the knowledge and marketing skills of students themselves.
Placement Experience :
The placement cell in the university is not very active and most students do not prefer to take up jobs from there due to poor offers. Most students tend to prefer government job preparations or pursue higher studies. There are no internship programs offered by the university
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
A student has to pay around 25000 every semester which equals 50000 every year and it includes all the charges of university like tuition fees, library fees, greenery fees etcetera. Students applying for self financed seats have to pay 40000 extra every semester. The fees of quota students barely differs by 5-6 thousand Scholarship is offered to all ICAR recommended students and top 10 merit students and the amount is about 10 to 16 thousand every semester.
Campus Life :
The fest of the college which is referred to as Agri night happens once every year and is organised by the students and many big names arrive as guests. The library has many great books and weekly journals some of which can not even be found anywhere else. Different clubs for cultural activities also exist. The agro club, which organises regular programs in the college is also run by students. Sports tournaments organised by the university or students themselves also regularly happen
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel mess is run by a mess committee comprised of students. The mess menu and mess bill every month is also decided by the mess committee. The rooms in hostel are spacious along with study desks and almirahs and can accommodate two students.

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs
